Who would win in a fight between carnage and riot? Carnage does have more abilities, but was like a rampaging kid and Venom ate it to kill it. Riot was cunning, and was even able to rip Venom from Brock and would have eaten him if Brock didn't rebond with it.
Carnage is more violent, unpredictable, and some would say more powerful than Venom. As Cletus was already a blood-lusting serial killer before becoming Carnage, the increased aggressivity caused by the bonding with a symbiote only made him more cruel and dangerous.
More Powerful: Toxin
Toxin proved to be so much more powerful than both Carnage and Venom that the two wanted to take him out together, but Spidey, who saw the good beneath the power, helped Mulligan use his symbiote to fight more nefarious versions of his own kind.
Riot's Powers and Abilities
As an offshoot of Venom, the Riot symbiote has many of the same powers as its "father." Riot possesses super-strength superior to that of Spider-Man, as well as the ability to block his Spider-Sense.

Venom went through a procedure where multiple "offspring" were created from him—thus Riot, the product of a symbiote spawn and Trevor was born. Unlike the other symbiote hosts, Trevor was extremely aggressive and unsympathetic, far worse than his "siblings" (with the only exception being Carnage).
However, unlike the mutant powers of Rogue, Venom is not absorbing Carnage but consuming him.

Exiles. The Earth-15 psychotic Peter Parker and Carnage combine to become the "Spider", and becomes a member of Weapon X in Exiles. He is killed when Firestar explodes from her powers.
In a fight against Carnage, Sinestro's years of experience as a former Green Lantern and his indomitable will curb stomp Carnage. With his own mind as the limit to his powers, there is no way Carnage can defeat the Master of Fear.
Carnage seemed the superior symbiote to Venom in nearly every regard, so how did he lose to Venom? The main reason was because the Carnage symbiote was not a perfect match with Cletus like Venom was with Eddie.
In the comics, Riot was bonded with a mercenary known as Trevor Cole with the intention of making a team of super soldiers. It was initially considered one of the weaker spawns of Venom but it's physically faster and stronger than its siblings.
Much like Drake, Riot has a hatred for humanity and seeks to bring the symbiotes to Earth, though unlike Drake, who does it because he wants to evolve humanity in his own empathy-free way, Riot seems to do it solely because of his own bigotry against them.
In the trailer, the Venom symbiote expressed reluctance about fighting him after noticing that Carnage is a “red one,” which suggests that red symbiotes are naturally more powerful than all other members of his species.
The character was introduced as the fusion of four symbiotes (Lasher, Phage, Agony and Riot), bonded to prison guard Scott Washington.
During the War of the Realms event, after Venom was separated from Eddie, the symbiote, in its humanoid form, joined the War Avengers (composed of Captain Marvel, Deadpool, Sif, Winter Soldier, Weapon H, Black Widow, and Captain Britain) to fight off Malekith's invasion.
Since Eddie is Venom's primary host, he's usually referred to with “he/him” pronouns, but the Symbiote race overall has no explicit gender. This characteristic has made Venom a haven for non-binary and gender-noncomforming fans.
Eddie Brock and Venom's next adventure has now been confirmed. Prepare for the return of washed-up journalist Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and his symbiote bestie on the big screen: Venom 3 is hurtling towards a 2024 release date.
The reason for this is that Carnage is a "red one," as Venom states, which is apparently quite concerning. Venom refuses to emerge from Eddie's body again, clearly scared of his vermilion enemy.
The original series climaxes with Spider-Man battling Venom in a burning warehouse, with the combination of the collapsing building and flame being enough to kill Venom.
Dylan Brock is the son of Eddie Brock and Anne Weying. When Anne bonded to the Venom symbiote, she somehow became pregnant with Dylan. He was created by the symbiotes in order to destroy their god Knull and sever him from the hive-mind.
Dr. Carlton Drake is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Riot) of the 2018 film Venom, the first installment of Sony's Spider-Man Universe. He is the misanthropic CEO of the Life Foundation, who is bent on fusing humanity with Symbiotes in order to "save" the human race.
While captive, the Venom symbiote was forced to give birth to five offspring - Riot, Lasher, Phage, Agony, and Scream - who were bonded to PMCs hired by the Life Foundation.
