INFJs' only true enemy is themselves, or more specifically, their inner critic. However, some personality types may be difficult for INFJs to get along with including: ESTJs: They are often seen as being too blunt, dominant, and insensitive for INFJs.
The INFJ Enemy
If someone threatens you (or worse, threatens someone you care about) you'll use everything you know about them to transform them or stop them. If their crime against you wasn't too severe, you'll confront them, showing them their true potential for life while empathizing with their past traumas.
The best matches for INFJs include intuitive types such as INTJ, INFP, and ENFJ. INFJs are the least compatible with sensors, especially ESTJs, ESTPs, and ESFPs. INFJ-INFJ relationships can be emotionally fulfilling yet difficult if both INFJs aren't willing to openly discuss relationship problems.
INFJs can be master manipulators if they develop a false sense of moral justice. But most often, INFJ villains believe what they are doing is for the good of humanity. Erik (The Phantom) is driven by his desire to be loved by Christine. Everything he does stems from this longing.
INFJs are no exception to this rule, and when they become overly stressed they may display a dark side that includes angry outbursts, obsessive worrying, perfectionism, or even depression. When INFJs first encounter stress, they start to behave very true-to-type.
INFJs are easily rattled, anxious and stressed when they have too much to do in a short space of time, when they aren't given time to reflect on problems or when someone is watching them.
INFJ: Vision
Introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Vision quickly became one of the MCU's most important characters, eventually even being the co-lead of his own show, WandaVision. Vision is insightful, devoted to those he cares about, and deeply interested in the human condition and helping people.
The INFJ – Bellweather (Zootopia)
The INFJ villain is someone with a strategic long-term vision and the people skills to get people aligned with them. Usually they believe their goal is to the benefit of others.
The INFJ – Jean Grey.
Although two well-developed individuals of any type can enjoy a healthy relationship, INFJ's natural partner is the ENTP, or the ENFP. INFJ's dominant function of Introverted Intuition is best matched with a personality type that is dominated by Extraverted Intuition.
The INFJ is most compatible with both the ENFJ and the ENTP. These two personality types can use their extroversion to bring out the best-hidden qualities of the INFJ. They will become more confident and try new activities to push beyond their comfort zone.
Again, opposite to the INFJ is the INFP, who will appear less organized and less controlled than the INFJ to others. Still, since their primary function is a Judging function, Introverted Feeling, there's a lot of internal organization others don't see outside the INFP's head.
As INFJs, our Introverted Intuition coupled with our judging nature makes us prone to having high expectations for ourselves, which means we often feel like we're failing.
Favorite color: Blue
The Myers-Briggs personality type that best matches these characteristics is INFJ. This personality type is characterized by sensitivity, creativity, and the ability to read other people.
INFJ: Cancer
The INFJ personality type fits perfectly with personality traits associated with the Cancer zodiac sign. The symbol of Cancer is a crab, and like a crab, INFJs are deeply sensitive and intuitive individuals who prefer to stay inside their shells until they feel emotionally safe.
It's fair to say that Advocate (INFJ) personality types can be pretty good leaders. Take a look at some of history's most influential Advocate leaders: Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela, and Plato.
Thanos - INFJ
The 'advocate' personality puts a personal mission above all else - regardless of the costs. They are principled, passionate, and altruistic. Thanos believes he is this, too, but he's also blinded by his ambition - making him the biggest villain of them all.
9. You cry easily. This one is especially problematic, as it often happens at very inopportune or embarrassing moments. Like all Feeling types, INFJs are prone to random tears.
ENFJ – Being Alone
Prolonged bouts of alone time can make ENFJs feel empty and uninspired. “My mind wanders to dark places if I'm alone for too long. Being around people is a huge comfort and something I couldn't stand to be without for an extended period of time.”
Usually, they will get more withdrawn and stuck in their head when they're angry. They might try to shut off noise, lights, or find a room they can hide away in to deal with their thoughts and charged emotions. Some INFJs shut down and stop talking and reacting, trying to sort out their thoughts inside.
Can INFJs be strong? Yes, INFJ is considered one of the strongest personality types of all the 16 MBTI personalities with their mental and cognitive abilities. However, they're not straightforwardly strong.
Compassionate: With their strong sense of intuition and emotional understanding, INFJs can be soft-spoken and empathetic. This does not mean that they are pushovers, however. INFJs have deeply held beliefs and the ability to act decisively to get what they want.
