Darth Sidious, publicly known as Sheev Palpatine from Naboo, became the Dark Lord of The Sith after betraying and murdering his Sith Master Darth Plagueis. Sidious was the Dark Lord of the Sith during the last years of the Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire.
1 Darth Sidious
There has been no Sith, as powerful, meticulous, nor as evil as the Emperor himself, Darth Sidious. As previously mentioned, Sidious trained in the Dark Side by Darth Plagueis before Sidious killed Plagueis in his sleep, making Sidious a Sith Master.

A Sith Lord with the ability to prevent death and create life, Plagueis is the mentor of Sheev Palpatine/Darth Sidious, who, in accordance to the Sith's Rule of Two, eventually betrays Plagueis by murdering him in his sleep, taking his place as Sith Master.
Darth Revan, later known simply as Revan, is the player character of the 2003 role-playing video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its upcoming remake by BioWare.
Early life and Jedi training
The child who would be remembered as Revan was eventually discovered to be Force-sensitive and was accepted into the Jedi Order. The Jedi Master Kreia claimed to have been his first teacher in the ways of the Force.
Now assisted by Shan's battle meditation, Malak considered his Sith Empire to be invincible. However, when the Republic fleet attacked the Star Forge, Revan—a redeemed and retrained Jedi—boarded the ancient superweapon and confronted Malak in a lightsaber duel that resulted in the Dark Lord's death.
He would go through many twists and turns in his life but it would be defined by his time as a feared Sith Lord. Revan is another Sith who is easily Ren's superior in just about every way. He was an extremely successful combatant and general.
1 Darth Vitiate
Known as the Sith Emperor, Vitiate was not known for his proficiency with a lightsaber – though as a Sith he was very well versed in combat and could hold his own against the most skilled warrior – but instead for his absolute mastery and control of the force itself.
In his prime, Revan was an unstoppable force on the battlefield, skilled in multiple forms of lightsaber combat, and regarded by many as the greatest warrior of his age. He accumulated respect from a vast range of different cultures from the Mandalorians to the Echani—the Rakata to the ancient Sith.
Arguably, some of the rarest types of Jedi were the so-called Iron Knights. These are members of the Shards species - crystals with a brain of their own. They were Force-sensitive and all trained under the tutelage of Jedi Master Aqinos. The Shards had droid bodies, similar to that of General Grievous.
Even though he perished in battle, Qui-Gon Jinn's consciousness continued. He had found the secret to immortality through the Force. However, unlike the Sith, who wish to live and hold their power for eternity, immortality through the Force is different.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
