1 – Yoda. What is this? Only a Jedi Grand Master who lived for nearly nine centuries can claim the top spot on our list of the 10 strongest Force users in Star Wars. Yoda's mysterious species was naturally well-versed in the Force, and Yoda was no exception.
If you're talking about Anakin at the end of the Clone Wars and Luke at the end of Return of the Jedi, then Anakin wins hands down. That is Anakin in his prime. His mastery of the Force was exquisite, his lightsaber technique impeccable.
Anakin is literally the most powerful force user in the universe, ever. Rey is not more powerful than Anakin. Anakin is the Chosen One which means Anakin could surpass Palpatine and Rey has Palpatine's power. Anakin is clearly more powerful.
In Star Wars Legends and Canon, Galen Marek (Starkiller) is the only Jedi (other than Obi-Wan Kenobi) to put a beat down on Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker.
In the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game, Darth Vader dispatches Starkiller to kill a number of Jedi who have survived the Great Jedi Purge. Starkiller is initially kept in secret, but he is discovered by Emperor Palpatine, he is seemingly betrayed and killed by Vader.
A Sith in all but name, Starkiller spent years honing his skills in lightsaber combat and Force techniques as Vader's secret apprentice and personal assassin.
Master Yoda has risen above all others to claim the top spot as the most powerful Jedi of all time and the true chosen one according to IGN's audience. He won pretty handily as well, as he was victorious in 89,756 of his 95,243 battles and had a win percentage of 94.2%.
Yoda is widely considered to be the greatest Jedi of all time, and with good reason. He is a master of the Force, a skilled warrior, and has an unmatched wisdom that comes from centuries of experience. He is the embodiment of what it means to be a Jedi, and his legacy lives on long after his death.
Unwilling to see his son die, Vader gave his life to save Luke, thereby dying as Anakin Skywalker. Anakin ultimately fulfilled his role as the Chosen One and brought balance to the Force, fulfilling Qui-Gon Jinn's belief in the prophecy that foretold Anakin's destiny.
One of the main reasons why Yoda would've won against Anakin is simply because he was far better trained than him. Yoda could see the moves his opponents were going to make before they made them; therefore, battling against Anakin would've put him at a far heavier advantage.
There are a lot of hints given throughout the Star Wars franchise that Padmé Amidala was in fact Force sensitive. It is clear that the young queen and later senator from Naboo was not strong in the Force or trained in the ways of the Jedi, but she very likely still had some low-level sensitivity.
Aside from agility and telekinesis, Yoda could absorb and redirect Force attacks, like lightning. Because of his higher understanding, he would easily overcome Darth Vader in a fight, though that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a difficult battle.
Plo Koon. Wise and compassionate, Plo Koon was one of the most effective Jedi masters, genuinely caring about the clones he commanded.
Biography. Legend had it that Yoda—a Jedi who became Grand Master—was trained by N'Kata Del Gormo.
1 Darth Sidious
There has been no Sith, as powerful, meticulous, nor as evil as the Emperor himself, Darth Sidious. As previously mentioned, Sidious trained in the Dark Side by Darth Plagueis before Sidious killed Plagueis in his sleep, making Sidious a Sith Master.
Yoda. Yoda was a wise, experienced, and powerful Grand Master of the Jedi of an unknown species and the oldest known prophet in existence (having lived at least 900 years), considered the wisest and most powerful Jedi Master within the Star Wars universe.
In Legends, Luke Skywalker was the undisputed most powerful Jedi to have ever lived in our knowledge, surpassing Yoda.
According to Star Wars Legends content, the first Sith was a former Jedi Master, Ajunta Pall, who became a so-called Dark Jedi, or “Fallen” Jedi. As the name implies, these Force-sensitives chose to practice the Dark Side, and rejected the Light Side of the Force.
The second time Yoda mentions his long life is in Return of the Jedi, when he tells Luke, “When you reach 900 years old, you will not look as good as you will.” If we take Yoda at his word, that means the Jedi Master died at the ripe old age of 900.
The dark clone of Anakin Skywalker, who later take on both of the names of his genetic template, first Anakin Skywalker, and later on Darth Vader, was a human male cloned by Starkiller from the genetic material of his former master, Darth Vader.
Galen Marek (pronounced /ɡeɪlən ˈmæɹɛk/), codenamed Starkiller, was a human male Force-sensitive who served as the personal assassin of the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who trained Starkiller as his secret apprentice—but came to the light side shortly before his death.
