The Slytherin House ghost was the Bloody Baron. He was well known for being extremely unsocial and many students, including those of his own House, were known to be slightly afraid of him. The Baron was also the only one known to be able to control Peeves.
The Fat Friar is the ghost of Hufflepuff house. He is a portly, jolly spirit in clergyman's garb. Not much is known about him.
Born Helena Ravenclaw, she was a witch and daughter of one of Hogwarts' founders, Rowena Ravenclaw. Helena turned into the ghost known as the Grey Lady after she was brutally murdered by the Bloody Baron. The character was portrayed by actress Kelly MacDonald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
Six ghosts are specifically named in the books: the four House ghosts (Nearly Headless Nick of Gryffindor House, the Fat Friar of Hufflepuff House, the Grey Lady of Ravenclaw House, the Bloody Baron of Slytherin House); Professor Binns, the History of Magic teacher; and Moaning Myrtle.
Moaning Myrtle
Born in the late 1920s to Muggle parents, Myrtle Warren started her Hogwarts life in the early 1940s, where she was sorted into Ravenclaw.

Dementors – tall, black-cloaked figures with rotten, skeletal hands; they have the ability to suck a person's soul out through their mouths, and they drain feelings of happiness and joy; employed as the guards of the wizard prison Azkaban; can only be repelled by the Patronus Charm.
Unfortunately, that man was the Bloody Baron, who was head over heels with Helena, and stabbed her in a rage when she refused to come home. After Helena was tragically killed, legend tells us that Rowena Ravenclaw died of a broken heart.
The Head of Slytherin is Horace Slughorn (who left the role to Severus Snape for fifteen years before taking it up again in 1996) and the House's patron ghost is the Bloody Baron.
Cedric's death becomes a point of trauma and guilt for Harry and continues to haunt him, which leads him to form Dumbledore's Army as a way to help teach his fellow students to protect themselves in battle. His death is also a focal point of the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Hufflepuff has produced the least amount of Dark wizards

Salazar married a witch named Nerezza of Aosta. They had two children: Maximiliana Slytherin Argent and Cenric Slytherin. Salazar Slytherin founded Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Godric Gryffindor in approximately 993 A.D.
Neither of them is Slytherin's heir. Although, as Dumbledore says, Harry's ability to speak Parseltongue is a skill accidentally transferred by Slytherin's actual heir, Voldemort, when he tried to kill Harry as a baby. So perhaps this is one myth with a bit of truth to it.
Although it was briefly speculated in Chamber of Secrets, Harry is not, in fact, a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin, though he is a distant cousin of Lord Voldemort, as both are descended from the Peverell family. Slytherin built the Chamber of Secrets to allow his heir to purge the school of Muggle-borns.
Although they surely would have done whatever possible to remain in Harry's life, they had no reservations about giving up their own to save him from Voldemort. Since they demonstrated a lack of fear of death, they were immediately less likely to become ghosts.
In 1998, Fred participated in the Battle of Hogwarts, defending the castle's passageways with his twin. While fighting alongside his brother, Percy, he was killed in an explosion possibly caused by Death Eater Augustus Rookwood.
Godric married Helga Gryffindor (born Hufflepuff) in 1870, at age 16 in marriage place. Helga was born in 1856, in Wales, United Kingdom. They had 4 daughters: Sophia Weasley (born Gryffindor) and 3 other children. Godric passed away in 1923, at age 69.
Albus Dumbledore was one who had long disapproved of the use of Dementors as guards, not only because of the inhumane treatment of the prisoners in their power, but because he foresaw the possible shift in loyalties of such Dark creatures.
Ekrizdis is a minor yet pivotal antagonist in the Harry Potter universe. He was an immensely evil wizard who lived in the 15th century in medieval Britain, it is believed he was either the creator of the Dementors or that his insane experiments and torture caused the Dementors to first manifest.
Nagini was Lord Voldemort's final Horcrux
Nagini was not only the last Horcrux to be killed, but also the last Horcrux to be created. In an interview, J.K. Rowling revealed that it was the murder of Bertha Jorkins that made Nagini a Horcrux.
When Voldemort returned to his hometown to murder his father and paternal grandparents, he took the ring and turned it into a Horcrux. Dumbledore eventually retrieved the ring and destroyed it with the sword of Godric Gryffindor.
Quirrell tried to put up feeble resistance on occasion, but Voldemort was far too strong for him. Quirrell is, in effect, turned into a temporary Horcrux by Voldemort. He is greatly depleted by the physical strain of fighting the far stronger, evil soul inside him.
