Natasha O'Keeffe as Lizzie Shelby (née Stark) O'Keeffe plays Tommy's second wife, an ex-prostitute struggling to keep their family together as Tommy pines after his deceased first wife, Grace.
Lizzie officially reached the end of her tether after discovering Tommy had slept with Diana Mitford and decided to leave him. Still distraught over the death of her daughter Ruby, she's surprised when Tommy's son Charlie asks to join her instead of staying with him.
Ruby Shelby was the daughter of Thomas and Lizzie Shelby and half-sister of Charles Shelby. She was named by her paternal great-aunt, Polly Gray.

Tommy attempted to quell her anger, explaining that, yes, he did regret marrying her, but only because he had put her through so much as a result. But after the Mosleys revealed that he had slept with Diana (Amber Anderson) at a dinner party, it's hard to imagine she'll be able to forgive Tommy.
Later on in the season, Billy is seen being held by his mother, in the living room of their house in Birmingham. Arthur then comes home drunk, so Linda puts Billy to bed upstairs. Billy is last seen being held by his mother, at his supposedly dead father's funeral.
Charlie was deeply in love with Mrs. Shelby, but never confessed his love for her, as she was married and had a family.
Thomas Shelby is surely a complex person but if there's one thing that is unquestionable is his love for Grace. Although treachery and time apart temporarily separated this couple, deep down, their love remained strong.
