Aquaman (in Knightmare)
During the sequence, Aquaman and Darkseid are battling underwater as the King of Atlantis as well as Atlantean soldiers. Darkseid not only defeats all of Arthur's warriors, but he executes Aquaman with his own trident that is pierced into his chest.
Aquaman ends up battling Darkseid at his throne in Atlantis but ultimately is killed by Darkseid as he impales Arthur clean through his chest and heart with his own Trident.
After an intense battle, the Anti-Monitor fuses the Black Racer with Flash and sends it after Darkseid. Using the fused Flash and his own powers, he kills Darkseid. With Darkseid dead, the universe is unbalanced as it has lost its God of Evil.
He also retroactively developed a specific weakness akin to Superman's vulnerability to kryptonite or Green Lantern's vulnerability to the color yellow: Aquaman had to come into contact with water at least once per hour or he would die.
Qwsp was for many years a valued ally of the undersea monarch. However, inspired by Aquaman's sudden change in appearance and outlook, Qwsp became a deadly threat, not only to Aquaman, but to the entire world. His name was spelled 'Quisp' in his first appearances but was retconned to Qwsp when he reappeared in JLA #30.
Aquaman's greatest enemy is the scourge of the seven seas, David Hyde, whose heart is as cold as the ocean depths he hunts. Considered one of Aquaman's greatest enemies, Black Manta has a singular hatred for the King of Atlantis.
Doomsday as he appeared in Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey #2 (May 1994). Doomsday ranked as #46 on IGN's list of the Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time. He is best known as the character that killed Superman in The Death of Superman story arc "Doomsday!".
Phobia: Incredible as it may seem, Darkseid fears his father, Yuga Khan, more than anything else; Yuga Khan is the one being in the universe far more powerful and evil and was worse of a tyrant than even Darkseid.
When counting down the most powerful DC cosmic characters of all time, the number one has to be DC's version of God known as The Presence. While there are numerous Gods in the DC pantheon, mostly from the Greek versions of Zeus and his offspring, the Presence is more powerful than them all.
This revealed that Arthur Curry is deadly afraid of the sea. This also happened during the "Tower of Babel" storyline, when Ra's al Ghul took advantage of Aquaman's hydrophobia.
Probably whatever they can find, fish, seaweed ect. They absolutely do eat fish, among other things. The saying that he doesn't eat fish because he can communicate with them is absolutely false.
Aquaman's greatest weakness was once again revealed, as Arthur Curry's fear of water was exposed by the Super Sons, but for good reason.
No, Aquaman is not a deity in any of DC Comics fictional universes? He was never a god of any place or of any era. Aquaman, is half-human and half-Atlantean – and that's the best we can get out of him. Aquaman's ocean-related powers are inborn.
While it's not impossible to make Aquaman bleed, it is a pretty difficult task. In the Aquaman Rebirth series, Arthur's enemies have to specially make weapons that can pierce his abnormally thick skin.
Mera was murdered during a confrontation with Wonder Woman who Mera blamed for seducing her husband away from her. After a vicious fight, Diana beheaded Mera, wears her crown and sent her severed head to Orin, which served as Aquaman's prime motivation for sinking most of Europe and waging war against the Amazons.
Superman
Superman is Darkseid's greatest adversary, and probably the only superhero he would want to fight head on. Since he's probably the only one who he deems as a major threat, Darkseid would usually separate him from the core JLA members in battle in order to conquer Earth-0.
Darkseid is therefore the ultimate walking power of malevolence, terror, and destruction, expressing his power over nearly all who dare face him. Indeed, even Wonder Woman showed immense fear when first learning of him.
Darkseid can be incredibly narcissistic, but even he understands that Batman is a cunning, formidable opponent willing to do what Superman and Wonder Woman cannot to protect the planet. While Darkseid may never fear Batman, he does respect the Dark Knight as a worthy adversary.
Superman killed Shazam because the latter opposed his plan of destroying Gotham City to set an example to Batman and the other heroes that fought him in the Injustice storyline. When Superman got tired of Shazam's opposition, he swiftly killed him by freezing his mouth and using heat vision.
The Man Of Steel cannot hear his mother's cry for help in the story and so is unable to save his father. The character was previously killed off in US TV show Smallville. He also died of a heart attack in the original Superman movie. Superman's real father is Jor-El, who died when Krypton was destroyed.
Bruce Banner may be more intelligent than Doomsday, but when he transforms into the Hulk, all his intelligence is converted to brute animal-like power. Though both Doomsday and the Hulk have healing abilities, Doomsday heals much faster. In terms of brute strength, the Hulk has a slight edge.
Mera, the traditional love interest of Aquaman, first appeared in comics in 1963 and is typically portrayed as the queen of the seas alongside Aquaman as king. Aquaman and Mera were notably married in the first superhero wedding in comic book history, in Aquaman #18 (Dec 1964).
As a water-based villain, he's gone toe to toe with Aquaman multiple times, and can withstand hits from Aquaman without much damage. Aquaman is strong enough to fight with Superman and Wonder Woman, yet King Shark is usually unphased by Aquaman's strength.
Aquaman is very strong, but he still isn't on the same level as Wonder Woman. In the New 52 comics, Aquaman can lift up to 475 tons and more, but Wonder Woman can achieve even better results than this. After all, she has the power of the gods at her disposal, and that's an advantage that shouldn't be underestimated.
