The first three chapters mentioned will lead to events that cause Max's death, but Chapter 10 has a direct way for Max to die. Specifically, if Max swims in the water Caleb will rip out his throat, effectively ending his life
How to kill Max in The Quarry. Chapter 10: As long as Ryan shot the monster in the attic during Chapter 9, Max can now be killed off. Choose to swim to shore, and Max will be killed by a monster.
In Chapter 9 you will be playing as Ryan. When Ryan has a choice as to which werewolf to shoot, he needs to shoot Chris with the silver bullet. This will cure Max off-screen and rid him of the infection. If you don't shoot Chris, then Max will remain a werewolf into chapter 10.
If Max swims to the shore, he jumps into the water and manages to swim back to the mainland dock, only to be suddenly attacked by a waiting werewolf Caleb, leading to his throat being torn out, with his corpse left on the dock.
The Quarry - Chapter 10 Max Turns Back Into Human from Werewolf: Finds Emma's Corpse, Max is Killed.
Chapter 10
If Chris is killed, Max, cured of the curse, will turn back into a man. He goes ashore, where he decides to stay on the island or swim to the main land. However, if Max swims to the main land, upon his arrival he will be caught and killed by werewolf Caleb.
First of all, Max obviously survives the events of the prologue. This is because his encounter with Chris Hackett in the basement turns Max into a werewolf.
Laura Kearney
Although she has at least four potential deaths in Chapters 9 and 10, the awesome female horror game protagonist Laura's inextricable link with Ryan makes her survival more difficult than many.
Nick. Nick and Abigail both have crushes each other at the beginning of the game, but are too shy to make any move.
(Chapter 10) Laura Kills Silas
When nearing the nest, have Laura raise the gun and shoot Silas, ending the curse for good.
He is initially presented as an abusive "bad sheriff", but he is not a malevolent character - he wants nothing more than to save his family, and is willing to work with the counselors to achieve this.
While the decisions in the prologue seem impactful to the story overall, players can choose whether or not Laura saves Max and it has no effect on the game at large, though it will prompt Max to have negative feelings towards Laura if she chooses to abandon him as he's dragged off.
Nick and Abigail both have crushes each other at the beginning of the game, but are too shy to make any move. However, Nick soon is given the perfect opportunity to try to show his feelings to Abigail as they gather kindling.
Silas Vorez is the main antagonist of The Quarry.
What is Considered the True Ending in The Quarry. In short, there is no one true ending in The Quarry, as the game encourages you to test different choices and decisions throughout alternate playthroughs as you attempt to seek out as many of the 186 ending variations as possible.
9 Dive In Or Help Abi
Jacob can either choose to help Abi, leaving Emma behind, or he can dive back into the lake for the rotor arm. If you choose to help Abi, Jacob doesn't end up finding her until she's already back with the group. If you choose to dive in, Emma will swim away assuming you abandoned her.
She finds herself attracted to Proctor while working in the Proctor home. According to the Puritanical mindset, Abigail's attraction to Proctor constitutes a sin, but one that she could repent of and refuse to acknowledge. Abigail does the opposite. She pursues Proctor and eventually seduces him.
Ryan and Dylan are the only notably queer characters in The Quarry. There are no women identified counselors who are portrayed as queer in the game.
Jacob. Jacob is the popular kind of character. He's arrogant but also charming and wants everyone to have a good time. He's in love with Emma, and he'll try to keep the relationship going.
Abi and Emma have by far the least amount of playable scenes, while Ryan has the most.
A boisterous frat boy type who all but incited the entire murder spree to start the game, Jacob Custos (Zach Tinker) is easily the least likable camp counselor. He's loud, brash, obnoxious, does not listen or heed any advice, and as a result of his ignorance, has at least eight potential deaths in the game.
Evan Evagora (born August 10, 1996) is an Australian actor. He is best known for his role as the Romulan Elnor on the television series Star Trek: Picard. He voiced and motion captured the role of Nick Furcillo in The Quarry.
Laura Kearney is one of the nine main protagonists and a playable character in The Quarry. She is one of the nine counselors at Hackett's Quarry summer camp and the girlfriend of Max.
Kaitlynn. Kaitlynn, who is played by talented Brenda Song, is a girl of many tricks. She knows her way around guns and cars and is the smartest among the campers. She doesn't hesitate to take action and assumes the leader role many times when half of the group is split up.
The path will not be unlocked if Dylan's hand was not bitten in Chapter 5. This requires Abigail to leave the bags in Chapter 1.
