Mitsuri puts up a strong fight against the Demon King and finally recovers from her loss of strength. Finally, as Muzan was about to land a critical blow on Mitsuri, Tanjiro stabs Muzan with a broken Nichirin blade in the head, and at the same time, Infinity Castle collapses.
Tamayo failed to kill Muzan by poisoning him, thus he came back to life. Tanjirou and Giyuu are the first one to approach him. There they fight Muzan Together without stopping. They realized that the only way to kill Muzan is to drag him into the sun.
These two arcs encompass the final confrontation against the "Demon King" Muzan after all, and it starts off with a bang. To be more precise, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the head of the Demon Slayers, baits Muzan into sneaking into his home to kill him.
Don't go! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE! Muzan speaks his final words as he loses control over Tanjiro.
Muzan Kibutsuji has done some terrible things in Demon Slayer, but his slaughter of Tanjiro's family is one of the most mysterious.
Unfortunately, Gyutaro spots Inosuke and stabs him right through where his heart should be with a sickle imbued with deadly poison.
However, in the Demon Slayer manga Muzan reveals his motivation for attacking the Kamado family. It turns out that Muzan attacked the Kamado family and specifically turned Nezuko into a demon in an attempt to create a demon that would be able to withstand being in the sunlight.
The two known demons who broke free of Muzan's curse are Tamayo and Nezuko. Tamayo was able to break free of the condemnation when Yoriichi fought Muzan, nearly killing him in the process. During this weakened state, Yoriichi let Tamayo go, free her from Muzan, and free her from the curse.
It is revealed that Muzan's true fear of dying and immense desire to live and survive was due to him being born "dead," where his heart would constantly stop in his mother's womb and was assumed stillborn until he fought to breathe before his cremation.

Since he didn't know anything about the Blue Spider Lily medicine, he needed others to find the plant for him by happenstance. This is the general reason why Muzan turned Nezuko into a demon. More specifically though, was the fact that Nezuko was of Kamado blood.
The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Sanemi managed to survive the battle against Muzan, if just barely. Unconscious and straddling the edge of death, Sanemi chose not to go to Heaven with his siblings, but to lovingly join his mother in Hell because she'd killed most of her children after she became a demon.
Thanks to Somiyoshi, and later on Tanjuro who passed it down to Tanjiro, the world is left with a weapon to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji, long after Yoriichi passed away. Those are ultimately the role of Tanjiro's father, Tanjuro Kamado, in the story of the Demon Slayer.
As Mitsuri bawls, Obanai accepts to himself that he "must die" defeating Muzan in order to cleanse his own blood in order to reincarnate as an innocent being with the reincarnate of Mitsuri by his side.
Yet, for some reason, Tanjiro Kamado, the series' protagonist, never becomes a Hashira. Demon Slayer's protagonist Tanjiro Kamado starts out as an ordinary boy but has his entire life turned around after his family massacre. To make matters worse, his only surviving family, Nezuko, is turned into a demon.
Trivia. Anne was originally planned to be Muzan`s older sister, who died by the hand of a Demon Slayer but that idea was scrapped, as the author knew practically nothing about Muzan`s early life. Instead, Anne became his wife, by which he had two children.

In fact, Muzan views him as more of a business partner and one of his closest allies. Thanks to this treatment, Kokushibo is extremely loyal to Kibutsuji and remains his strongest enforcer.
During Tanjiro and the rest of the Hashiras' showdown with the Demon King Muzan, Tanjiro is mortally wounded and dies. At the same time, Muzan receives a particularly fatal lil' booboo himself. As Muzan is about to shuffle off the mortal coil, he uses the last of his powers to turn Tanjiro into a demon.
Moreover, while she was asleep, Urokodaki performed a unique hypnotism on Nezuko, making her believe that all humans are her family and she must not hurt them in any way. With her immense fondness for humanity, Nezuko broke out of Muzan's control, becoming free to do anything at her will.
Nezuko, Tamayo, Yushiro, and later Chachamaru are the only four demons not under the control of Muzan.
Origin. The first demon that is said to have existed was Muzan Kibutsuji. The one who turned him into a demon was a generous doctor from the Heian Period, who wanted to save Muzan from death since, at the time, he was diagnosed with a disease which would kill him before he turned twenty.
In her final moments, she apologized to Inosuke for failing to protect him and tosses him into the river as an attempt to save his life. She was ultimately killed and eaten by Doma, who claimed to have devoured her to the bone.
Sanemi stabs Nezuko's box multiple times, prompting her to leave it. Seeing the Hashira's wounded arm, she is transfixed by the sight of his blood.
Tanjuro Kamado a recurring flashback hero from Demon Slayer : Kimetsu No Yaiba. He was the husband of Kie Kamado, and the father of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, and Rokuta.
