BTS Jin has left for his mandatory military service, leaving the other 6 members V aka Kim Taehyung, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, Jhope and Suga emotional. Jin, the oldest member of the K-pop supergroup BTS, was set to enter a frontline South Korean boot camp Tuesday to start his 18 months of mandatory military service.
Jin entered the Yeoncheon training center on December 13, 2022, and has since been selected to serve as an assistant instructor at the Yeoncheon army base in northern Gyeonggi province, according to the South Korean military. BTS member Jin shares a photo of himself in military uniform.
Jimin (whose full name is Park Jimin) was born on Oct. 13, 1995, in Busan, South Korea. He is another one of the group's main dancers, and he studied dance in high school. He was the last to join BTS, becoming a member of the group in 2013.

2022–present: Return to the industry
After a three-year hiatus from the entertainment industry, it was announced on July 14, 2022, that Jimin had signed an exclusive contract with Alo Malo Entertainment, and will be making her return to the entertainment industry.
BTS' Jimin is single and unmarried till now. There have been a few link ups but he not married to anyone.
BTS is doing the best they can to make sure that ARMY does not feel the void Jin has left behind. After a video featuring Jin's travel diary to Argentina dropped, another clip of the eldest vocalist leaving a message for ARMY has just been shared. The video was shot prior to his departure for the military service.
How long will BTS be in the military? According to the statement from BTS' company BigHit Entertainment, BTS will reform again in around 2025. Since Jin will be entering the military at the end of 2022, the rest of the members are likely to start their military service around 2023 to complete their mandatory two years.
A few fans calculated the duration and realised that Jin will be discharged on June 13, 2024, exactly 11 years after he along with his fellow BTS members made their debut as K-pop idols. Speaking with Newsen, BigHit Music said, “It's hard to confirm. We ask for your understanding."
Speaking more casually, there are no "requirements" needed to join the BTS ARMY. Anyone can call themselves a member of ARMY so long as they enjoy BTS, regardless of whether or not they've purchased every album or watched every video of theirs.
RM, whose full name is Kim Namjoon, was the first member of BTS and is the band's leader. RM, whose previous stage name was Rap Monster, is one of the band's rappers. He started rapping in the sixth grade after he listened to Epik High's “Fly” for the first time.

Some fans dispelled the rumours, saying that he is not colour blind. There are three different types of colour blindness and subtypes but none of which apply to him, according to a fan. There are fanfiction online about it but Taehyung himself did not speak colour blindness.
