During episode three we learned that the Yoriichi Type Zero was built by Kontetsu's ancestors more than 300 years ago, during the Sengoku era.
As the battle reached its climax, Tanjiro was able to knock the doll's head off and discovered that the mechanical body contained a mysterious sword. Fans of the manga will recognize this sword as the one carried by Yoriichi Tsugikuni himself.
Yoriichi is a master swordsman who wields a red-black Nichirin blade, a katana style blade made of scarlet ore and engraved with the words "destruction".
He was a genius when it came to swordsmanship and nearly killed Kibutsuji Muzan all by himself. So now, Tanjiro, the protagonist of the Demon Slayer series, has access to a sword that belonged to the best swordsman to have ever lived.
Yoriichi's katana also has the words Slay ( 滅 めつ , Metsu?) engraved on the side. Along with his katana, Yoriichi also carries a standard sword sheath that is black in color.
Michikatsu, who snuck around behind their father's back to see his brother, pitied Yoriichi, who was thought to be deaf until he was seven and clung to his mother's side at all time. At some point, he gave Yoriichi a flute he made as a gift.
Combat Style
"Breath of the Sun: Thirteenth Style") is the thirteenth form the Sun Breathing and the pinnacle of all Breathing techniques in history. This technique was created by Yoriichi Tsugikuni himself in order defeat Muzan Kibutsuji.
Katzin brought the sword ashore after fearing it could be further buried under the sea's shifting sands. He then reported his find to the IAA and was given a certificate of appreciation for "good citizenship," an IAA spokesperson said.
Since the mechanical doll was based off Yoriichi Tsugikuni, it had to be given six arms to recreate his swordsmanship style, the doll was also able to execute 108 various moves and is said to be stronger than an average human.
The World's Oldest Swords
The oldest swords ever discovered are the Arslantepe swords. Found in modern-day eastern Turkey and dating to around 3300 BC, these first swords predate the production of bronze and are made of an arsenic copper alloy.

Overview. Nichirin Blades can turn into virtually any color dependent on the user and their Breathing Style, however, there is one color that cannot be accessed, which is a bright red color. This color was first discovered by Yoriichi Tsugikuni when he became a Demon Slayer due to his Sun Breathing.
Tanjiro's ancestor was a good friend of Yoriichi and arguably was one of his only true friends. Therefore Yoriichi gave the earrings as a gift, and since then they have been passed down the generations until they reached Tanjiro.
As Yoriichi spoke of his regret for coming to his house to eat free food, Sumiyoshi tries to remind him that he had saved him and his family, and they owe him great gratitude for it.
Kotetsu tells us the doll was modeled after a famous swordsman, whose skill was so impressive that it could only be simulated by giving the training dummy six arms.
So to compare Tanjiro's Demon form in which he's immune to sunlight, and also has the prowess of Sun Breathing, it would give him an upper hand, but still he would lose to Yoriichi.
Rimuru Tempest becomes a God towards the end of the series and can travel back in time and travel between worlds. His space-time abilities alone would be enough to beat Yoriichi. This character is often stated to be stronger than Goku, despite the community being quite divided on this topic.
Yoriichi Tsugikuni is the strongest demon slayer character to have ever existed in the series. He is also the only person that Muzan was ever afraid of.
The development of the sword out of the dagger was gradual; the first weapons that can be classified as swords without any ambiguity are those found in Minoan Crete, dated to about 1700 BC, reaching a total length of more than 100 cm (39 in). These are the "type A" swords of the Aegean Bronze Age.

In the Demon Slayer manga's final chapter, Yoriichi and his family have been reincarnated and are seen in the deep background of a panel as Tanjiro's own descendants head to school.
This mastery allowed Zenitsu to form a Seventh Form of Thunder Breathing that is unique only to him: Honoikazuchi no Kami. While this move might seem similar to Thunder Breathing's First Form, the speed and power of this technique are on a whole new level.
