The Finger of God, who is the Spirit, is the Divine Author of all God's written Word. “For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21) His fingerprints are all over Scripture.
Moses saw God face-to-face upon an unknown mountain sometime after he spoke to the Lord in the burning bush but before he went to free the children of Israel from Egypt (see Moses 1:1–2, 17, 25–26, 42; see also Exodus 3:1–10).
In the Bible, St. Paul (Saul of Tarsus) was struck blind by a light from heaven. Three days later his vision was restored by a "laying on of hands." The circumstances surrounding his blindness represent an important episode in the history of religion.
20; Deut. 5.) "Both times they were written by the finger of the Lord on tablets of stone," Elder McConkie explained. "The first time they were revealed as part of the fulness of the gospel, but when Moses, returning with the sacred tablets, found Israel reveling in idolatrous worship, he broke the tablets.
While a king was holding the Jews (see also Jews) captive in the foreign land of Babylon (see also Babylon), in the sixth century b.c., a mysterious hand appeared, writing on the wall of the king's palace. The king called upon Daniel, who interpreted it to mean that God intended the king and his kingdom to fall.
“In the same hour the fingers of a man's hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king's palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.” (Daniel 5:5).
The prophet Ezekiel (2:9–10) received his prophecy by hand: "Then I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out to me.
Saul's blindness, then, is foisted upon him from an outside divine source; he is a man who loses his sight due to the intervention of Jesus. 26:12–18.
While on Patmos, God gave John a vision of the final days of earth, and a peak at heaven. In the vision, John saw the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down from heaven to the new earth, for the old earth had been destroyed.
The first one occurs in 2 Enoch 22 which portrays Enoch's encounter with the Lord in the celestial realm. Enoch recounts: I saw the view of the face of the Lord, like iron made burning hot in a fire and brought out, and it emits sparks and is incandescent. Thus even I saw the face of the Lord.
What Seeing God's Face Does to Us. This is what God is communicating here in Exodus. No one can see His face and continue to be revived and strengthened by natural means. No one can look directly at the Creator of Genesis 1 and simply call it a nice experience.
Isaiah's vision
According to this account he “saw” God and was overwhelmed by his contact with the divine glory and holiness. He became agonizingly aware of God's need for a messenger to the people of Israel, and, despite his own sense of inadequacy, he offered himself for God's service: “Here am I!
Known as the Roque Partido or Finger of God, it is a type of rock formation that was created more than 14 million years ago. Due to the erosion of the sea, the rock gradually became isolated on a cliff for more than 300,000 years until it reached its famous stump shape.
Historically, it represented the phallus. In the early 1800s, it gained increasing recognition as a sign of disrespect and was used by music artists (notably more common among actors, celebrities, athletes and politicians; most still view the gesture as obscene).
Finger of God is aspecial weapon in Shadow Fight 2 during the Ritual event 2022. It can be obtainable from the Ritual Chest for 150 Face of Darkness coins or 119 gems. Face of Darkness coins was the special currency for the Ritual event, which could be obtained by defeating The Lamb.
Sacred Scripture teaches that Enoch and Elijah were assumed into heaven while still alive and not experiencing physical death.
In 1205, while praying in the Church of San Damiano just outside Assisi, Francis of Assisi reported a vision in which an image of Jesus came alive and told him: "Francis, Francis, go and repair My house which, as you can see, is falling into ruins." This vision led Francis to renounce the outlook of his merchant family ...
Paul wrote to the church at Corinth that “we walk by faith and not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
3. THERE IS NOTHING MORE POWERFUL THAN THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD. - Exodus 13:3 Then Moses said to the people, Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the LORD brought you out of it with a mighty hand. - Egypt was the world's power of its day.
The child-sized hand was discovered in April during an excavation at the site of Vindolanda, an ancient Roman fort. Discarded in a ditch, the hand was found near a temple devoted to the god Jupiter Dolichenus.
It is also a placement next to God in Heaven, in the traditional place of honor, mentioned in the New Testament as the place of Christ at Mark 16:19, Luke 22:69, Matthew 22:44 and 26:64, Acts 2:34 and 7:55, 1 Peter 3:22 and elsewhere.
"A week later his disciples were in the house again, and this time Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
The Hidden Hand of God is an effort between father and daughter to share a story of God's love and how the smallest act is God doing his work in the world.
