Quick recap:
Ginny went with Neville as friends, because Ginny wouldn't have been able to go otherwise, and also possibly because Ginny presumed Harry would have no trouble finding someone to go with him, or maybe she was just too shy around him to approach him about it.
He then suggested that he attend with Hermione and Harry take Ginny, but Hermione had already — and secretly — accepted the invitation of Viktor Krum, and Ginny had agreed to go with Neville.
– In Chapter 22 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry finally finds the courage to ask Cho Chang to the Yule Ball. To his dismay, Cho informs him she is going with another Triwizard school champion: Cedric Diggory.
Fleur attends the Yule Ball with Roger Davies of Ravenclaw. Fleur is attracted to Bill Weasley and in Half Blood Prince it is announced they are to marry.
Weasley hates Fleur because she's "too pretty, too flighty, not as smart as Tonks". Fleur's arc is proving that she is as smart and strong as any other female character. It's not her fault she's so pretty when she couldn't control how she looked. She's not flighty or as rude as Hermione, Ginny and Molly think she is.
Fleur Delacour failed to finish the second task because she was attacked by the grindylows. Because Delacour failed to finish, she never retrieved her younger sister, Gabrielle.
Cho Chang is a Ravenclaw student one year above Harry, and is the Seeker for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. She is Harry's first love interest, is described as being "very pretty" with long dark hair and is frequently accompanied by a group of giggling girls.
The explanation is very simple - Harry has a very strong sexual desire for Ginny. He has no such feelings for Hermione. Sex is a fundamental aspect of adult relations. Sex is, in fact, the characteristic that defines the difference between a platonic relationship and a romantic one.
Overview. Ginny Weasley's first romantic entanglement is an enthrallment with Harry Potter which visibly continues throughout the first four books. She remains unattached and taken with Harry until she hooks up with Michael Corner, a Ravenclaw student.
She lost her virginity to Ron sometime after the Battle of Hogwarts. Not to Krum or McLaggen and surely not Fred. Thank you.
Neville took Ginny to the Yule Ball, presumably because he did like her on some physical level. Ginny is considered very attractive. Neville would naturally be attracted to her, which would only heighten after spending a lot of time with her and going through the same traumas together.
Pansy Parkinson and Draco Malfoy
Her natural flair for the loud and dramatic made her the perfect provider of the attention that Draco so often wanted. It was Pansy who 'simpered' over Draco after Buckbeak the Hippogriff attacked him, and they even attended the Yule Ball together.
SHE'S A PROFICIENT AND POWERFUL WITCH
J.K. Rowling has stated one of the reasons Ginny is gifted is due to the fact she was a seventh child and the first female Weasley born in generations, which ties into the superstition of the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter.
The Tom Riddle incident
Lord Voldemort lived inside those pages, and Ginny was eventually possessed as the Dark wizard began to absorb her strength, control her into opening the Chamber of Secrets, and nearly killed her. The event, though undeniably traumatic, was a pivotal point in Ginny's life.
The pair were parted when the Sorting Hat placed Severus in Slytherin and Lily in Gryffindor, and while Lily thrived in her new, magical life, Snape was essentially placed in close quarters with the likes of Lucius Malfoy, Avery and Mulciber.
Even J.K. Rowling says that Hufflepuff is her favorite House. It's produced the fewest Dark wizards of all four Houses. Hufflepuffs are down-to-earth. Literally, their House colors represent wheat and dirt, symbolizing their humility (rather than the precious metal secondary colors of the other Houses).
Moaning Myrtle
Born in the late 1920s to Muggle parents, Myrtle Warren started her Hogwarts life in the early 1940s, where she was sorted into Ravenclaw.
Ginny didn't like her because Fleur treated her like a little girl, not like a respected teenager like Ginny was used to.
Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour
While the two were mostly side characters throughout the franchise, their off-screen romance came to the forefront at the start of Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Even in the midst of being hunted under Voldemort's new regime, Bill and Fleur go through their wedding at the Weasleys' farmhouse.
Ginny didn't like Fleur because Fleur treated her like a child and could be very bossy and rude. Hermione on the other hand didn't like Fleur because she was jealous of her good looks and she was upset that Fleur had kissed Ron on the cheek and she was also upset that Ron kept defending her.
