At the end of the war, Bail Organa adopted Padmé's daughter Leia and raised her as an
Attended by medical droids, Padmé Amidala gave birth to her twins Luke and Leia on Polis Massa. She died and the twins were split up, with Obi-Wan taking Luke to Tatooine and Bail Organa returning home to Alderaan with Leia.
Leia, however, was captured by stormtroopers and confronted by Vader, who didn't believe her claim that the ship was on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan. Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin, one of the Empire's highest ranking officers, held Leia prisoner on the Death Star.
The ambush on Alderaan was a kidnapping of Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan by Vect Nokru and his crew at the behest of the Third Sister, who had Organa brought to the planet Daiyu in order to lure out fugitive Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, an old associate of Senator Bail Organa in 9 BBY.
Among the attendees were Queen Apailana, Sio Bibble, the Governor of Theed who served as one of Amidala's advisers when she was Queen of Naboo; Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, another close friend of Amidala and fellow senator who knew who was truly to blame for the death; Jar Jar Binks, the Gungan representative in the ...
The Little Girl
Honestly, I just couldn't figure out who she was or why she was even in the funeral procession. This also means that for the longest time I forgot I could just look up the credits of the film. Long story short, she is Padmé's niece, Pooja Naberrie, and was portrayed by Hayley Mooy.
As he kills one soldier, he says "for Padmé!" to which the dying man tells him "for Anakin." Once they clear out the attack, Darth and his troops end up at the Queen Padmé Amidala's tomb. As Darth Vader takes it all in, Sabé and her handmaidens show up ready to fight.
This is not because the Third Sister knows that Leia is Anakin Skywalker's child; it is because the Third Sister found a link between Obi-Wan and Bail Organa and she believed Obi-Wan would do anything to save Bail's daughter.
However, Leia's strong-mindedness during Vader's probe denied him the opportunity to discover she was his daughter. That serves to justify Vader's lack of awareness of his connection to Leia, although, perhaps, not as satisfyingly as if Lucas had planned for the relationship from the beginning.
Darth Vader only learned he had a daughter in Return of the Jedi - but there's no evidence he realized she was Leia before his death and redemption. Darth Vader may have never known Princess Leia was his daughter in Star Wars and never cultivated a relationship with her, even when he was a Force ghost.
Leia Organa-Skywalker
Leia Amidala Skywalker (portrayed by Carrie Fisher) is the wife of Han Solo, the mother of Ben Solo, the younger twin sister of Luke Skywalker, the daughter of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, and the granddaughter of Shmi Skywalker, raised by Bail and Breha Organa of Alderaan.
Some people believed it was Breha who Leia was remembering on Endor, thinking she was her biological mother. However, this didn't end up being true as the prequels established Padmé as her (and Luke's) mother.
She knows Obi-Wan's real name as well as his alias of “Ben.” When Luke comes barging into her cell and says, “I'm here with Ben Kenobi,” Leia jumps off the bunk in an instant.
In order to hide the fact that Amidala's twins survived, her body was prepared to still appear pregnant. Her maternal grandmother, Ryoo Thule, oversaw Amidala's funeral, as per Naboo custom. Amidala's body in her casket as it is drawn through the streets of Theed.
At some point after his transformation into the armored Darth Vader, Amidala's husband, the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker came to visit the mausoleum, stricken by grief and remorse for his part in her death.
With Leia's strong connection to the Force, it seems like the most likely solution to this inconsistency is that she's caught glimpses of her mother through Force visions. As Luke trains with Yoda on Dagobah during Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, the wise old master says, "Through the Force, things you will see.
However, she chose not to tell Anakin, presumably because he was about to go into a battle. Anakin was prone to letting his emotions affect him, and knowing that Padme was pregnant would've thrown him completely off the task. And Padme probably didn't think that her husband would be fighting battles for months to come.
Even though he had a fierce confrontation with Leia Organa during the opening scenes of 'Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope,' he never even suspected she was his daughter. That was why the only person Vader targeted and tried to convince to turn to the dark side was Luke, as he didn't even know that he had a sister.
Seething with ambition, Reva hunts down Jedi survivors of Order 66 as an Inquisitor. She wears the sleek armor of the secret order, and brandishes a unique lightsaber that can split in two to maximize her lethality.
The Third Sister was at the Jedi Temple during Order 66. She either saw Anakin kill her fellow Jedi or saw the recording of his crimes. That's why she has such hatred for Obi-Wan. She was a Padawan who escaped Order 66.
Jocasta worked in the Jedi Archives for decades, and Sidious believes that her precious knowledge will prove useful. A security robot in the Archives identifies Darth Vader as Anakin Skywalker within earshot of Jocasta, and she is shocked.
Shmi was buried at the farm with a gravestone marking her grave. After her husband Cliegg Lars died, he was buried next to her.
Darth Vader was aware that Padmé Amidala died. That's because Palpatine told him what happened to Padmé after he saved Anakin on Mustafar. In fact, there was a big funeral held for Padmé on Naboo. But Vader didn't know that Padmé died of a broken heart as he thought she died by his hand.
