Yamata is going to become the 11th member of the Straw Hat Pirates soon. We thought she will become one by the end of the Wano arc, but unfortunately, she stayed to help Momonosuke and the others raise Wano back to glory again. But Yamato is confirmed to be the unofficial 11th member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
The theory teases in the beginning about the 13th being Momo that fits the dragon sign. This theorist also believes that Momo will lead Wano so he quickly shut that possibility down. So the theory suggests Vivi to be the 13th with her Celestial Dragon lineage tying her to the dragon sign.
Over the last few arcs, the Straw Hats have been helped by some other characters and these characters have made a strong case to become the next member of the crew. There are two characters, who have been heavily linked to becoming the next Straw Hat. These are - Carrot and Yamato.
Despite all the build up, Yamato ended up not joining the Straw Hat Pirates and here's why. The Straw Hat Pirates are a powerful bunch that hail from the East Blue and are led by the protagonist of One Piece, Monkey D. Luffy.

Zoro is the second-strongest member of the crew and that will most likely always be the case in the story. After defeating Kaido's strongest underling, King, Zoro was recognized as the strongest commander of the crew.
Concerning his ethnic appearance, Oda revealed that he imagines Zoro to be of Japanese descent, albeit in a real-world context. Zoro has many scars on his body. The most noticeable is the long scar running down his left eye, which is the one he got after returning from the two-year time skip.
After his death, Yamato chose to become just like Oden, impersonating him and adopting his mannerisms. As a result of this desire to emulate Oden, Yamato decided to become a man and identify as Kaidou's son, and Kaidou and his crew refer to him as such as well.
Yamato possesses the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami, which is a Mythical Zoan type devil fruit. It allows him to turn into the mythological wolf deity. While fighting against Kaido, he showed all the different versions of his devil fruit, including an awakened form.
Yamato would love to listen to Ace's stories all night long. Sadly, she never got a chance to sail with him. Their relationship is the perfect mixture of heartwarming, funny, and sad. It's the main reason why Yamato has grown attached to Luffy, considering he is Ace's sworn brother.
Perhaps the most emotional departure in the series, the ship's cook Sanji left the crew after receiving an invitation to a wedding: His own. Sanji's biological father Vinsmoke Judge decided to marry his son off to Charlotte Pudding, the daughter of the powerful pirate Big Mom.
Fans know Vivi to be a character who has a great bond with the Straw Hat Pirates. In fact, she is an honorary remember of the crew, which could also mean that she will soon officially be the 10th member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Luffy needs key jobs filled by his crew (cook, navigator, medic, musician, and shipwright, filled by Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Brook, and Franky, respectively). At the beginning of the series, he said that he wanted at least ten crew members with abilities he felt necessary for his goal.
5 Pudding Betrays The Straw Hat Pirates
In the Whole Cake Island arc, Pudding tried to help the Straw Hat Pirates, however, she was actually leading them into a trap. She betrayed not just the Straw Hat Pirates but Sanji as well and was planning on killing him and his entire family.
In the Post-War arc, one of the Five Elders stated that "D." means danger. After the timeskip, Law mentioned the Will of D. once more when Doflamingo asked him why he had so much faith in Luffy.
Big Mom regains Zeus. On the day of the Fire Festival, Zeus joined the Straw Hats on the Thousand Sunny as they entered the battle with the Beasts Pirates.
Despite its initial impression, Luffy's Devil Fruit is also a Zoan-type of the Mythical branch, the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. Luffy's appearance and abilities in awakened form (which he calls Gear Fifth), however, differ greatly from other awakened Zoans shown recently in the series.
Four members of the crew possess Devil Fruit abilities: Luffy, Chopper, Robin, and Brook. Luffy has awakened his fruit and has used its alteration of his body in a massive variety of creative ways to adopt new forms which increase his power and fighting capabilities.
Yamato is the daughter of one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, Kaido, who also holds many epithets. Since the moment of his death 20 years ago, Yamato idolized the legendary samurai, Kozuki Oden at the age of 8 years old. Thereafter, Yamato started declaring herself to be Oden.
The Oni are a rather mysterious race as almost nothing is known about them. They haven't been officially introduced in the series yet, but there is no doubt that they will be confirmed as a separate race, sooner rather than later. There are two known members of this race- Kaido and Yamato.
Yamato is the son of Kaido so there is absolutely no surprise that he possesses the power to use Conqueror's Haki as well. Yamato awakened this power at the age of 8 and has, since then, been training it. By the age of 28, Yamato is one of the strongest Conqueror's Haki users.
It's rare to see Zoro get close to another woman that isn't Nami or Robin, so fans welcome the idea of a ship between him and Hiyori. Their personalities are complete opposites, but there is a strong bond between them. Their banter is also a joy to watch, and fans are eager to see more of it.

When asked by a fan what the nationalities of the members of the Straw Hat Pirates would be if One Piece was set in the real world, Oda replied that Usopp would be African. Usopp is the only Straw Hat Pirate to be assigned a continent rather than a nationality.
