Draco had no idea that by disarming Dumbledore, he became the master of his wand — the
Draco Malfoy was not the one who killed Albus Dumbledore, as Severus Snape intervened. Still, he did become the rightful owner of the Elder Wand after disarming the powerful wizard. Draco was unaware that he was the true owner of the Elder Wand at that moment and never wielded it.
This nuance was lost on Lord Voldemort, who wrongly assumed Severus Snape held the Elder Wand because he was Dumbledore's killer, when in reality Draco had disarmed Dumbledore before Snape arrived on the scene, making Malfoy the wand's true new owner.
Voldemort thinks that he becomes the true owner of the Elder Wand by stealing it from Dumbledore's grave, but in the end we learn that the true owner was really Draco Malfoy, that is until Harry defeated him and allegiance transferred to Harry.
Voldemort only killed him while he rotted in a cell in the prison Nurmengard because he was frustrated, in a rush to go after Harry, and realized that Grindelwald wasn't going to give him the location of the Elder Wand. Without Voldemort, Grindelwald would potentially still be alive.
Grindelwald played a major part in the "Harry Potter" series
He was Albus Dumbledore's closest friend before turning into a Hitler-like figure who threw the magical world into turmoil in an attempt to dominate non-magical folk. Grindelwald's first mention in the "Harry Potter" series is inconspicuous.
Unbenknowst to most, Dumbledore was actually unable to confront Grindelwald directly: in their youth, the two wizards had sworn a blood pact, sealed in magic, not to fight each other. The vial that had sealed the pact was kept by Grindelwald for years until it was stolen in 1927 by Newton Scamander.
The most powerful wand in the entire Harry Potter universe is the Elder wand — one of the three Deathly Hallows. Made out of the tail hair of a Thestral, the wand can only be handled by the strongest of wizards. Made by Death itself, the wand can be used with the other Deathly Hallows to make one the master of Death.
Draco's wand is 10 inches long, made of hawthorn wood with a unicorn hair core. Hawthorn is a protective tree, and it is said to ward off evil spirits. The unicorn hair core gives Draco's wand consistency and loyalty.
Instead of suffering a painful death, he urged Snape to end his misery. He was confident that Snape was loyal to him, and his allegiance with Voldemort was simply to protect Harry, because he failed to protect his mother Lily. Ultimately, Dumbledore's death at Snape's hands was a win for everyone involved.
In her estimation, in an attempt to protect the true Harry's identity, Snape sacrifices Hedwig, thus keeping the other Death Eaters off his scent albeit for only a short time.
So, Voldemort had to kill Snape for the wand's allegiance to switch. Voldemort knew he couldn't cast Avada Kedavra with the Elder Wand to kill its master, so he ordered Nagini to be the one who killed Snape. In reality, the Elder Wand belonged to Draco, as he was the one to disarm Dumbledore in the Astronomy Tower.
Draco Malfoy's mother Narcissa was cold, cunning and devoted to the Dark Lord. But she was also a mother, which meant she was willing to risk everything to make sure her son was safe. When Harry survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for the second time, Narcissa pretended he was dead so she could get to Draco.
We saw above that his confrontation with Dumbledore must indeed have been traumatic, as Dumbledore offered to protect both him and his mother from Voldemort's wrath and Draco was unable to kill an already dying and wandless wizard. Dumbledore's offer of refuge is exceedingly important to the Draco redemption theory.
Umbridge's magical object overall is definitely one of the weakest wands in Harry Potter.
Made from an unknown wood, this wand is said to be incredibly powerful and full of untapped potential. It's also been known to change allegiance at the drop of a hat, which made it difficult to control. But that didn't stop Sirius from using it to wreak havoc on anyone who crossed his path.
The longest wand in the Wizarding World actually belongs to Professor Gilderoy Lockhart, the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry's second year at Hogwarts. Warner Bros.
The most likely reason why Lord Voldemort's nose disappeared and he devolved into such an evil-looking creature is that as he dabbled deeper into the Dark Arts, his appearance gradually became as distorted as what remained of his twisted soul.
It is said that those carving say "more or less human", pointing to him being an animagas. A deep shade of black in most of its appearances. Based on the recent release of the Celtic Calendar and the correlation with wands, we can assume his wand is a Reed wand since he was born November 3rd.
Wizards had long revered this pure creature for its precognition power, which Sybill Trelawney taught as Divination. Tragically, this was what led Grindelwald to slay the baby Qilin. He harvested her power and used it to enhance his own Seer abilities.
His exceptional magical abilities, immense knowledge of various branches of magic, and strategic thinking make him a formidable wizard. Dumbledore served as the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was a highly skilled duelist, and possessed incredible wisdom and intuition.
