Tattoos in South Korea are not widely accepted by the general public, so much so that musical artists are prohibited from displaying their ink on TV shows and live broadcasts. If anyone has a tattoo on a broadcast, they are either covered up with makeup, or blurred in post-production.
The main reason is the conservative society South Korea. Tattoos are seen as taboos. Also many so called fans can't accept the fact that JK thought for himself and did something for himself.
No tattoos
Although there isn't a rule stipulating that idols cannot flash their tattoos on television, most Korean tattoo parlours aren't strictly legal – tattooing is considered a medical service, and thus tattooists need a medical license to operate.
I didn't say anything because it was the obvious truth that people would not believe me, interpret [my words] as they wish, and that I would receive even harsher replies. I would like to once again state that it is absolutely not true that I am dating Jungkook or that I tattooed my initials on him.
In their statement, Big Hit even threatened to take legal action regarding the rumors. Bit Hit denied the rumors that Jungkook is dating, saying, "The now circulating dating rumors regarding our artist Jungkook is absolutely not true." They also explained that Jungkook was simply hanging out with an "acquaintance."
However, the Dreamers singer clarified that it was just a rumour. Some of the other people Jungkook has been linked to are Blackpink's Jisoo, singer-actress IU and fellow classmate Park Se Won. While he has been linked to many, Jungkook has actually never confirmed a relationship during his time as an idol.

This past me was also me. So I don't think deleting them is the right thing (for me)“. The South Korean idol ended the topic by saying that he is not against people removing their tattoos someday, but added that he doesn't think it's necessary at least in his point of view.

The boy band has seven members — although each of them are currently on a brief hiatus — and only two of them are heavily inked. That's right: while Jimin and Jungkook have a handful of known (and hidden) tattoos, Jin, J-Hope, RM, V, and Suga only have one piece of body art each.
South Korean law permits only licensed medical practitioners, as opposed to tattoo artists without medical degrees, to open tattoo parlors, although it is not illegal to have a tattoo. Only the army prohibits tattoos. People can have tattoos after serving in the military.
❓ How many tattoos does Jungkook have? Fans think that he has around 18 tattoos. But in fact, there're only 14 designs that can be clearly seen, so all others remain mystery.

The tattoo on Taehyung's neck in 'ON' mv looks like cracks from afar, but close up more so tree roots. Taehyung's neck vein tattoo goes down his chest meaning the sting from that bite is spreading... imagine how lucky the visual director / artist who painted this on his glorious chest.
