Detective Mulligan's eyes light up blue in
During the fight, Mulligan is apparently killed by Barrison, but absorbs a piece of one of the symbiotes, which later revives him and causes his eyes to glow blue.
Blue Symbiote (1) (Mayhem): In the comics Mayhem was a biologically reengineered being as a human and symbiote hybrid. The character April gave herself the name Mayhem to operate under in her superhuman activities, but she died in an explosion while fighting Spider-Girl.
In addition, Venom has come out on top as the victor in many battles with Symbiotes like Carnage, Hybrid, and Scream (all of which are arguably more powerful than he is).
During this fight, one thing became abundantly clear: as strong as Venom and Carnage are, Toxin is much, much stronger. As the 1000th symbiote born in the Venom family line, Toxin was destined for incredible feats, but he was also at risk of an even more severe mental collapse than Carnage's.
Toxin, Carnage, and Venom come from a long line of Klyntar, and Toxin is the 1000th member of this genealogical line. Symbiotes tend to become more powerful with each generation, and that is why Venom and Carnage were both so fearful of Toxin's potential power.
Carnage. Perhaps the Marvel Universe's deadliest symbiote, Carnage debuted in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1963) #345. Shortly after spawning from Venom, the Carnage symbiote bonded to a serial killer named Cletus Kasady.
Why is black Venom afraid of red Venom? It could be that in the universe of the Venom movies, this type of strong bond is already known among the symbiotes to result in stronger specimens. This could explain why Venom is so fearful of facing an enemy with a ruddy hue.
Feeling shunned, the symbiote bonds with Eddie Brock, as the pair become Venom through their shared hatred of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man. In simple terms, Venom hates Spider-man because Peter Parker rejects the Symbiote.
Riot was the name of a gray alien symbiote from the planet Klyntar.
Carnage is Venom's offspring. That is why Carnage often calls him “Pops” or the like. Like a previous poster stated Venom feels responsible for Carnage and Carnage hates his “dad”.
This is why Carnage is more powerful than Venom, and it is also why he looks the way he does. The red hue and unstable, fluid-like design of the character is meant to represent its fusion with Kasady's blood. This strange connection to the color red and its association with blood goes well beyond Carnage's origins.
Trivia. In the comics the symbiote Phage is also referred to as the Yellow Symbiote, has identical colors, and originates from the Life Foundation. Phage was only named decades after the its debut, after years of not having an offical name.
The Toxin symbiote has a long and troubled history in the Marvel universe as both a villain and an anti-hero. Toxin's place in Venom and Carnage's genetic line and its difficulty with hosts have all helped define the symbiote and its ever-expanding place in the Marvel Universe.

Carnage is Venom's son. Like most organic beings, Venom's race known as the Klyntar also reproduces and creates other symbiotes. Venom spawned an offspring while he was rescuing Eddie Brock from prison. The newborn symbiote bonded with Eddie's cellmate Cletus Kasady and became Carnage.
Venom has bonded with everyone from Deadpool to Captain Marvel, but the symbiote's most powerful host was inarguably the Void.

The symbiote that would be known as Toxin was the spawn of the Carnage Symbiote. Upon being born, Toxin bonded with police officer Patrick Mulligan and the two attempted to be heroes until Pat's sudden death. After being removed from Mulligan, Toxin was forced to bond with Eddie Brock and fight Venom.
Symbiotes were originally created by an ancient malevolent primordial deity named Knull. When the Celestials began their vast plan to evolve the universe, Knull, seeing that his "Kingdom" was being touched, retaliated by constructing All-Black, the first symbiote, and subsequently cut off a Celestial's head.
Venom's most recent and current host is Brock's biological son, Dylan. Venom is also depicted as having spawned several children—Scream, Lasher, Phage, Agony, Riot, Mania, Sleeper, and most notably, Carnage, who becomes Venom's archenemy after being bound to serial killer Cletus Kasady.
Venom 3 was originally expected to arrive sometime in October 2024, but the fact that Sony has moved it up on the schedule suggests that they are confident about delivering the film despite the impact of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes on the production (more on that below).
