Fury's words, based on the Watcher's omniscient observation, only confirmed Thor's fear that the gods were a blight on the universe. While their effect eventually wore off, these three words destroyed the God of Thunder's understanding of himself.
He was rendered unworthy, because in his heart he believed what Fury said was true. In effect, Thor knew “how it feels to be mortal” and in his mind mortals are unworthy of Mjolnir and the powers of Thor. It's important to note here that Thor's unworthiness was of his own design.
In the comics, the original Thor (let's call him “Thor Classic”) finds himself unworthy of wielding the Mjölnir hammer, which means it has fallen from his grasp and cannot be lifted. There it stays, stuck on the moon, until a woman appears and picks it up—finding herself imbued with all the powers of a thunder goddess.
Gorr planted seeds of doubt in Thor's mind, forcing him to question whether gods truly are as noble and benevolent as they seem. Nick Fury seizes on that doubt in 2014's Original Sin, telling Thor "Gorr was right" and rendering the god of thunder so disillusioned that he's no longer able to lift Mjolnir.
During the Marvel event Original Sin, the God of Thunder did lose his worthiness after Nick Fury whispered in his ear that "Gorr was right." This caused him to lose his confidence and drop his hammer. Jane Foster would then pick up Mjolnir and become the Goddess of Thunder as Thor would go by Odinson then.
Odin strips Thor of his power and casts him and Mjolnir to Earth. Crowds of humans gather in an effort to lift it, attracting the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D. Thor eventually finds Mjolnir but is unable to lift it until he later proves his worthiness by sacrificing his life against the Destroyer.
But once called out on his cowardice by Thor, he quietly admitted to being afraid of Gorr, as he wielded the Necrosword and was capable of killing all gods for good - but downplayed the threat in order to maintain his mighty image, as well as to not cause panic amongst his peers.
Gorr's Daughter Love is Chris Hemsworth's Real-Life Daughter
In the film, Love is Gorr's daughter, who dies in vain on a barren desert planet in the midst of an environmental catastrophe. When Gorr finds his god living in luxury while he suffers, he vows to kill all gods by using a wish from Eternity.
In the comics, Gorr has a pale face with almost no nose, a thin mouth, and white eyes. The design is similar to Voldemort, the main villain of the “Harry Potter” series.
Why did Mjolnir choose Jane? The short answer is yes, Thor is still worthy of lifting Mjolnir after Thor: Love and Thunder. His worthiness comes down to the reason why Mjolnir chose Jane. In the comic books, Mjolnir does choose Jane to be Thor after Thor becomes unworthy and is unable to lift it.
In a moment of wistful affection for his girlfriend, Thor asked his trusty hammer to always protect Jane, and in doing so unwittingly enchanted Mjolnir to do just that. Just like Thor's father Odin once enchanted the hammer to only be lifted by someone who is worthy, Thor cast a spell that let Jane use its powers.
and this one would be exclusive to The Mighty Thor which means only she can lift the hammer. and use its new abilities. and Thor odinson cannot. but if Thor has to wield it then Jane would have to give her powers and the hammer to him willingly.
Within the MCU, they have established Thor as an immortal, making him an invaluable member of the Avengers and one of the most powerful beings to ever exist. As a result he can be killed in battle, but he will always return to his body one way or another.
Why is movie Thor weak in strength compared to the comic Thor? Because when Thor was introduced in the MCU The Avengers were already planned, and The Avengers tried to avoid the mistake that DC would later make: Having one character (or two if you count Hulk) that makes the rest of the team look unnecesary.
Thorr Odinson is a villain from the Avengers and is an evil alternate reality version of Thor Odinson as well as a member of the Tyrant Avengers.
As explained in this article, she is Gorr's daughter, brought back to life through a request to Eternity and then adopted by Thor. She becomes the daughter Thor raises as his own one, and they will be known as Love and Thunder.
It's possible that Love, like Eternity, can manipulate time, space, matter, reality, and magic and transform into anything in existence. Considering the source of her powers, it's likely she's also immortal (or close to), all of which makes her incredibly unique.
After her resurrection, Gorr's daughter can shoot energy beams from her eyes and possesses superhuman physical characteristics.
8 Odin Would Definitely Lose To Gorr
However, Odin is basically a glass cannon: powerful enough to challenge enemies but unable to stand against them for long. Gorr would brutalize Odin. Odin's best years are far behind him. Even with the Odinforce on his side, he's died way more than he's won in recent years.
Biography. Zeus is the king of Olympus. He refused to help Thor by giving the army of gods after hearing Gorr was slaughtering the low-ranking gods. As Thor defied him, Zeus sends his guards to kill Thor and his allies, however Thor got his lightning bolt and threw it at him, presumably killing him.
To answer the question right away, Zeus and Odin are not the same, nor have they ever been thought to be the same entity at any point throughout history. Zeus is the king of the gods in Greek mythology, whilst Odin is the king in Norse mythology.
Forged by dwarves in the heart of a dying star, the weapon is enchanted so that it can only be lifted and wielded by those who are worthy of its powers. Both in the comics and the MCU films, many characters other than Thor himself, both heroes and villains, have been able to lift Mjolnir.
Like Conan, Rogue held the hammer in a “What If...?” story. In this case, the issue took place during Rogue's tenure as a villain. Having absorbed Thor's powers (much like Awesome Andy) Rogue lifted Mjolnir. The new and improved Rogue took down the Avengers but ultimately took down the bad guys, too.
Is Spider-Man worthy enough to lift Mjolnir. The short answer is yes, Spider-Man is able to lift Mjolnir but it's not that simple. While Spider-Man can lift Mjolnir, Peter Parker cannot. That's because it's Miguel O'Hara's Spider-Man 2099 that can lift Mjolnir as he does in 1998's 2099: Manifest Destiny one-shot.
