He mocked the other styles as "cheap imitations" of Sun Breathing and accused Tanjiro of coming to their residence to mock them for his superiority, after recognising his Hanafuda earrings.
Kyojuro Rengoku's Relationship to His Power & His Father
Then Shinjiro's wife died, and Shinjuro became bitter and jaded about himself and the entire demon slayer corps.
At the time of his retirement, he was the oldest Hashira among his peers. Unfortunately, the cause of his retirement was not due to injury or old age, but rather because of a broken heart. When his wife passed away, Shinjuro was so overcome with sadness that he drowned himself in alcohol.
In the final moments of the film, a gravely wounded Rengoku tells a tearful Tanjiro “If you are feeling disheartened, that you are somehow not enough, set your heart ablaze.
His death provided the needed wake-up call for demon slayers like Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu that Hashiras are not invincible. They became aware of the full extent and the dangers posed by demons to the world and that they cannot rely on Hashira to save them every time they find themselves powerless.
And finally, let's get to the number one saddest death in the franchise, and of course, that's the death of the brightly burning Flame-Breathing user that is Kyojuro Rengoku.
Demon Slayer has peculiar characters with incredible strength, skill, and presence. But, among this group of eccentric people, Kyojuro Rengoku still stands out from his colleagues due to his upright and exceptional bright personality. Yet, his fiery hair is also one of the biggest reasons he stands out.
Shizuka is seen often teasing Sanemi and making him annoyed, nevertheless, the two had still created a strong bond and relationship with each other. Eventually, after knowing each other for a while, Shizuka finally ended up having the courage and confessed, leading to them getting married after awhile.
Red Nichirin Blade
Red often means intensity, and in Demon Slayer this is no different. The red sword represents Flame and Kyojuro Rengoku's excentric and expansive personality translates that.
In an interesting turn of events, as mentioned above, Tanjiro later uses the flame handguard from Rengoku's sword on the legendary Yoriichi sword he finds during the Swordsmith Village arc.
As the Flame Hashira - and a master of his own breathing technique - Rengoku lead by example for the newer Demon Slayers such as Tanjiro, which was a task Kyojuro took seriously. Even against terrible odds, he never stopped smiling and encouraging others.
Following his demise at the hands of Akaza, Flame Hashira's position fell empty. The only person who could fill the position and carry on the family tradition was Kyojuro's younger brother, Senjuro Rengoku.
Ruka is the mother of both Senjuro and Kyojuro, and is the wife of Shinjuro. Some time after giving birth to Senjuro, she developed an untreatable disease and was left bedridden up until her death.
Rengoku- Agoraphobia the fear of situations in which escape is difficult. Tengen- Kakorrhaphiophobia the fear of failure. Gyomei- no phobia(s) Obanai- thanatophobia the fear of someone they love dies (broskie wants to make sure Mitsuri is immortal and frankly so do I :( )
However, it is later revealed that Shinjuro truly cared for Kyojuro despite what he said to Tanjiro, and the memory of Kyojuro causes Shinjuro to begin breaking down in tears.
He appears to be abusive, harshly insulting the recently deceased Kyōjurō and knocking Senjurō to the ground during his fight with Tanjirō. He is also an alcoholic - his first action upon awaking after being knocked out by Tanjirō is to buy alcohol, and he is often seen drinking.
Black is the most mysterious color of all the blades, and is held by the main character, Tanjiro. It is a rare blade and represents the sun; it also holds a theory that the demon slayers who own this sword are not to live a long life.
8) Muzan hates being called pale or dead
Muzan is the most powerful demon in the entire series, and is responsible for creating all demons. For someone who considers himself to be perfect, it is natural that he will hate being called pale or dead. This is established quite early on.
As the battle reached its climax, Tanjiro was able to knock the doll's head off and discovered that the mechanical body contained a mysterious sword. Fans of the manga will recognize this sword as the one carried by Yoriichi Tsugikuni himself.
Rengoku is easily one of the most lovable Hashira in Demon Slayer. This is why it's a shame that he succumbed to the wounds that he suffered in his fight against Akaza.
But, when it comes to who was the better Hashira, Tengen wins by a considerable margin. His experiences as a shinobi and as a Demon Slayer far exceeded Rengoku's, and led to him developing far superior strength, battle tactics, and techniques.
So the reason Rengoku is loud af because he accidently ruptured his own eardrums while defending himself from a demon on his first mission...
Akaza says that if he becomes a Demon, Kyojuro can keep training for hundreds of years to become even stronger than he is right now. Kyojuro says that growing old and dying is the very beauty of being human, going on to explain that people are only lovable and precious because of this aspect.
6) Kyojuro Rengoku
Rengoku is yet another strong Hashira who almost stalled Akaza until the sun burnt him. He was so strong that Akaza initially refrained from hurting Rengoku since he recognized his potential and combat abilities.
