Narcissa Malfoy is often credited with saving Harry's life by not telling Voldemort about him. The only reason she does this is because she thinks Draco may still be alive, and she is not willing to chance to lose her son. While this saved Harry, she ultimately did it for herself and Draco.
Although Draco had still not rid himself of the hope of returning the family to their former high position, his inconveniently awakened conscience led him to try – half-heartedly, perhaps, but arguably as best he could in the circumstances – to save Harry from Voldemort when the former was captured and dragged to ...
Draco Malfoy's mother Narcissa was cold, cunning and devoted to the Dark Lord. But she was also a mother, which meant she was willing to risk everything to make sure her son was safe. When Harry survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for the second time, Narcissa pretended he was dead so she could get to Draco.
However, this wasn't the original plan. It turns out that instead of rejoining the Death Eaters, Draco was supposed to help Harry at the very last second by throwing him his wand to help him defeat Lord Voldemort.
According to Rowling, Malfoy originally makes an effort to be Harry's friend because "it will be cool to turn up at the school being Harry Potter's friend, because Harry is so famous." However, Harry did not want Malfoy as a friend because he "has been so rude about Rubeus Hagrid and about Ron, who Harry likes so much" ...
Finally, Lucius, Narcissa, and Draco never fled Hogwarts with the other antagonists and losers. In The Deathly Hallows novel, the Malfoys defect from Voldemort's army, betraying the other Death Eaters.
As other people said, it is also due to the Malfoys' arrogance, the feeling of self-importance and wealth. The Weasly family is also very poor, which may also lead to a dislike with the rich, pureblood families.
Draco had several reasons for lying to Bellatrix, including the fact that he was never a bad person. Moreover, he no longer found working for the Dark Lord appealing and hated how Voldemort treated his family. He did not intend to harm anyone and believed Harry was the only person capable of defeating Voldemort.
Specifically, Draco was jealous of Harry. It was easy to miss because Draco didn't often show his emotions, modelling himself on his cold, confident, calculating father, but J.K. Rowling has confirmed that a lot of his enmity towards Harry stemmed from envy.
Draco was torn between loyalty to his family, fear of Voldemort and worry for his former classmates.
Narcissa's greatest moment, however, was when she chose to betray Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Not knowing whether Draco was alive or dead, Narcissa chose to lie to the Dark Lord rather than risk losing her son.
Ultimately, his need to survive and protect his family would lead Lucius to betray Voldemort. With the Dark Lord defeated, he and his wife Narcissa turned in every Death Eater they could to avoid being imprisoned in Azkaban.
Because he and his family defected from the Death Eaters they were pardoned for their crimes after Voldemort's final defeat and did not serve a stint in Azkaban. He and Narcissa later had a grandson, Scorpius Malfoy, after Draco married Astoria Greengrass.
In the book, it's primarily because: Hermione didn't disapparate with Harry and Dobby from Malfoy manner. So it's possible she wasn't close by them. Ron apparated with her based on the description of the scene and not knowing Dobby's injury, he probably took her right back to Shell Cottage without thinking.
Attempts to save Dobby include applying Essence of Dittany, a potion known for accelerating wound healing. However, Hermione, who is responsible for administering the potion, lacks the knowledge and resources at the time to address the severity of Dobby's injury.
When Voldemort "killed" Harry in the Forbidden Forest, she asked him whether Draco was still alive, as she knew that the only way she and Lucius could search for Draco inside Hogwarts would be as part of Voldemort's victorious army. Though she disliked Harry, she placed her family's welfare over Voldemort's goals.
“Harry was constantly crushing on Draco. He just couldn't hide it.” In the books and movies, Harry and Draco are constantly at each other's throats, given that Draco's parents are Voldemort supporters and the evil wizard killed Harry's parents.
Isaacs brings up Lucius' disheveled appearance in Deathly Hallows, raising the possibility that the Malfoy patriarch had begun drinking too much. The way Isaacs saw it, Lucius was in a no-win situation. Given everything he'd done, the man no longer had a place on either side of the war.
Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
Cruciatus Curse ('Crucio')
Harry tried to use this spell himself. The first time was against Bellatrix after she had killed Sirius. His attempt was unsuccessful because, as Bellatrix mockingly explained: 'You need to really want to cause pain – to enjoy it – righteous anger won't hurt me for long…'
Bellatrix Lestrange Killed her own cousin, Sirius Black: She killed Sirius (who was her cousin) during the battle at the Department of Mysteries. She was remorseless and was cackling in glee after she had murdered Sirius.
Why? The main reason is that Lucius failed to retrieve the prophecy from the Ministry of Magic, put that on top of all the other times Lucius failed, and it leads to him losing any clout he once carried within the Death Eaters. Lucius did that for his own benefit - he was trying to discredit Arthur weasley.
Lucius Malfoy had a strong dislike of Albus Dumbledore. This is due to two reasons – Dumbledore believed in Muggle rights which contradicted Malfoy's pure blood beliefs. In addition, Lucius was a Death Eater, so he believed that Lord Voldemort was a much more powerful wizard than Dumbledore.
It proves that Snape cares deeply for the Malfoy family, going as far as offering his help by way of an Unbreakable Vow. What can we learn from this about Snape's loyalties, then? It says that, no matter what side he is on, one thing is clear: Snape is very loyal to his friends.
