Accounts that consistently violate Community Guidelines will be banned from TikTok. If your account has been banned, you'll receive a banner notification when you next open the app, informing you of this account change. Like other social media apps, TikTok has added certain restrictions in place over the years to prevent younger users from seeing more explicit content. Even though you have to be 13 to use the platform, some content will remain restricted until you turn 18.
