The mid lane requires priority when it comes to warding. Many Supports and Junglers like to ward around the mid lane because it is the core section of the map.
The ADC should cover their nearest lane bush on their turret side. A Control Ward, ideally, is going to last longer than a Trinket. For this reason, Control Wards should be placed farther out in river from your lane, while Trinket Wards being used closer to your lane.
There are 4 types of wards: Control Wards (or Red Wards), Green Wards (or Stealth Wards or Sight Wards), Yellow wards (or trinket wards or yellow trinket), and Blue Wards.
Control Wards are a 75-gold item that reveals and disables wards. They reveal camouflaged champions (not always, learn the specifics) and stealth traps as well. They have 4 health points and do not die after a certain period of time. The next type of vision denial is a sweeper.
Vision Wards have pink tops as opposed to. Stealth Wards, which have green tops. Vision Wards are visible at all times and have 4 health point. Every attack done to it will only damage it by 1. It also regenerates 1 health every 3 seconds when it has been out of combat for 5 seconds.
Warding is so important because vision is so important to League of Legends. You often spend so much of a game focused on the action surrounding you or in lane that it's easy to neglect everything else that's going on hidden in the fog of war.
Like always, you want to have wards inside of the enemies jungle in areas that are high traffic and where the enemy Jungler or Mid may be walking through. Having invisible wards here will allow you to know where they are at all times and allow you and your team to set up a potential trap.
You can only have 1 Control Ward placed on the map at a time (per player). Carrying 2 Control Wards is recommended if you are playing Support or Jungle, since vision needs to be moved around often and the ward might be destroyed.
: a minor subject to wardship. : a person who by reason of incapacity (such as minority or mental illness) is under the protection of a court either directly or through a guardian appointed by the court. called also ward of court. : a person or body of persons under the protection or tutelage of a government.
A2: A guardian is a person or institution appointed by a judge to take care of and be legally accountable for a person who cannot take care of himself or herself. The person that the guardian is responsible for is called the ward. Wards are either minor children or incapacitated persons.
CONTROL WARDS VS.
Totem Wards last from 90–120 seconds while Stealth Wards lasts for 150 seconds. They are also Stealthed so they are untargetable by enemy champions. You will most likely destroy it using a Control Ward or an Oracle Lens.
Stealth Ward - This is very similar to a Totem Ward, but this type comes from a support item (Targon's Buckler/ Runsteel Spaulders/Frostfang/Harrowing Crescent and their upgraded versions). The only other differences are that it lasts for 150 seconds and gives more gold when it's killed in comparison to a Totem Ward.
Jungle. The Jungle is the hardest role in League of Legends and everybody can agree that they have the most responsibilities and the most consequences for their actions.
The mid lane is often regarded as the most important role in League of Legends. It is the heart of the team and the fastest way to the enemy base. The mid lane controls the pace of the game and depending on which champion you choose to play, the flow of the game will either be quick or slow.
Top Lane
If you have a player pick something like Maokai or Ornn, who will be useful even if you leave them alone all game. The fact that you can do that, leave one role alone for an entire game and they will still be as useful as if you camped for them all game, is why top lane is the least important role.
Ward Takedown Rewards
Control Wards provide 30 gold and 40 exp. Stealth Wards provide 30 gold and 40 exp.
Stealth Ward
For example, they have a standardized, unchanging lifespan of 150 seconds, regardless of what point in the game they are placed. They also grant 30 gold when destroyed, although they grant the same amount of experience as a Totem Ward.
Control Ward can also be used like any other ward for the purposes of granting vision, but it is not quite as effective as it is not stealthed. It can be placed near paths where the opposing jungler can come through to gank, especially those who are stealthed by camouflage.
