A direr failing: Goat's milk cannot easily be made into butter. As for sheep's milk, almost no one in the United States or anywhere else drinks it straight. It has twice the fat of cow's milk and human milk, making it too rich to be very appealing as a beverage.
Sheep milk is superior and belongs to a class of its own. People who develop intolerances find that sheep milk products are the only dairy products they can safely eat (patients who are unable to digest either cow's or goats' milk have had no trouble with sheep milk).
It has more nutrients per glass: more protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. For example, sheep milk has almost twice the level of calcium and zinc, compared to cow milk.
Pig milk is generally considered unappealing for human consumption. Compared to more conventional animals such as dairy cattle or goats, a main issue is their omnivorous diet. Also, the flavor of pig milk has been described as "gamy", more so than goat's milk. The milk is also considered more watery than cow's milk.
The most similar in composition to human milk is horse and donkey milk. It contains considerably more whey proteins (35-50%) than cow milk (about 20%), and the concentration of the most allergenic casein fraction αs1 is 1.5-2.5 g/l.
Buffalo Milk
Rich in fat and solids, it has a strong flavor. A lot of people prefer buffalo milk over cow's milk. Buffalo milk is pure white because it has already converted carotene into vitamin A, so it does not contain carotene.
Explanation: Black milk is the slimmest milk containing very little amount of fat (0.2%) is produced by Black rhinoceros.
An intriguing little detail in all this frothy commerce is that many people in China, like much of Asia, are lactose intolerant. Human children produce an enzyme that allows them to digest milk, but in much of the world, its levels taper off as they grow up.
Some people drink horse milk instead of cow's milk for its health benefits. It's said to be similar to human milk; it's a translucent white color and sweeter than cow's milk. The milk comes from mares or female horses. It's low in fat and protein and high in lactose.
Giraffe milk: Giraffe milk is rich in vitamin A & B12 and is said to treat diabetes, cholesterol and irritable bowel syndrome. Plant-based milk alternatives too are high in nutrients but may not share the same nutritional values as that of cow's milk.
Goat's milk, by nature, is closer to human breast milk than cow's milk or soy, which means less processing and more natural goodness. It is high in oligosaccharides, similar in protein levels to human breastmilk, and is low in lactose, which makes it perfect for babies and toddlers with sensitive tummies.
LF as a sheep's milk protein has antibacterial, antioxidant, anticancer and anti-inflammatory effects [23,24].
So a real Greek yoghurt is going to be made from sheep's milk or goat's milk, or some combination of the two (like most Greek cheeses, including feta). As you would expect, apart from the various health benefits over cow's milk, all that wild pasture will come out in the milk.
There are a few problems with consuming dog's milk. Feeding your baby dog's milk is not a viable option from a nutritional standpoint. Dog's, cow's, or any other animal milk lacks proper nutrients that a human baby needs and you should stick to breast milk or formula unless in case of an absolute emergency.
What does sheep's milk taste like? The answer is mild and creamy with a slightly natural sweet taste. We've observed that people think that sheep's milk is going to taste a bit like goats milk or they are afraid that sheep's milk might taste “sheepy” or taste like the smell of sheep.
Sheep milk is noted for its incredibly clean flavor – with no funny aftertaste. In fact, most people even prefer it to cow milk.
The amount of milk for the calf, and the amount that is milked, is regulated by tying up the teats to prevent the calf from suckling. The camels are milked twice a day. The daily milk production is between 2.5–6 kg, but often 15 kg per day is milked.
Raw milk is milk that has not been pasteurized to kill harmful bacteria. Raw milk can be contaminated with harmful germs that can make you very sick. In fact, raw milk is one of the riskiest foods. People who get sick from raw milk might have many days of diarrhea, stomach cramping, and vomiting.
Donkey milk has properties that make it a high-quality addition to a healthy diet. It's very nutritious and people who can't tolerate cow's milk can often drink it.
Lactose intolerance in adulthood is most prevalent in people of East Asian descent, with 70 to 100 percent of people affected in these communities. Lactose intolerance is also very common in people of West African, Arab, Jewish, Greek, and Italian descent.
Saturated Fat and Heart Disease
Milk and other dairy products are the top sources of artery-clogging saturated fat in the American diet. Milk products also contain cholesterol. Diets high in fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol increase the risk of heart disease, which remains America's top killer.
For the most part however it seems to be down to preference and tradition. France after all isn't the only country on the continent to choose long-life milk over fresh.

Because mare's milk contains more sugars than cow's or goat's milk, when fermented, kumis has a higher, though still mild, alcohol content compared to kefir. Even in the areas of the world where kumis is popular today, mare's milk remains a very limited commodity.
Whale's milk, not used for human consumption, is one of the highest-fat milks. It contains, on average, 10.9% protein, 42.3% fat, and 2.0% lactose, and supplies 443 kcal of energy per 100 grams.
