There's only one answer, and it's that the Kelpie is Newt's Patronus. A Kelpie is a shape-shifting beast that lives within water. It is not to be approached by humans — unless they want to be eaten. Newt documented the Kelpie in his hit book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
He's Luna Lovegood's grandfather-in-law
Newt's full name is Newton Artemis Fido Scamander.
“Cedric was a person who exemplified many of the qualities that distinguish Hufflepuff house,” Dumbledore continued. “He was a good and loyal friend, a hard worker, he valued fair play.” All of those are consistent with the portrayal of Cedric in the canon, hence, he was well suited in Hufflepuff.

Cho Chang is a Ravenclaw student one year above Harry, and is the Seeker for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. She is best known for being Harry's first love interest, is described as being "very pretty" with long dark hair and is frequently accompanied by a group of giggling girls.
Initially, Newt Scamander was only mentioned in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as the author of the book Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, which was used as a textbook for Care of Magical Creatures by Harry Potter and his classmates.
Goldstein: The father of Queenie and Porpentina "Tina" Goldstein, father-in-law of Newt Scamander, and great-grandfather of Rolf Scamander and great-grandfather-in-law of Luna Lovegood. Mr. Goldstein was a wizard and married to Mrs. Goldstein, having two daughters, Porpentina and Queenie (her real name is unknown.)
Sirius bucked the trend in the Black family by being sorted into Gryffindor as opposed to Slytherin, like the rest of his family.
Foxes are cunning, resourceful and fiercely intelligent – remind you of anything? That's right – we wouldn't be surprised if some members of Slytherin house find themselves with a fox Patronus. Foxes are also highly adaptable and can live in many diverse habitats around the world.
It is unknown if Newt is pure-blood or half-blood, as his father's blood status is unknown. According to Dumbledore, Newt does not seek power and simply asks, "what is right?" His patronus is unknown as, according to JK Rowling, is a secret.
As far as we know from the first two films in the Fantastic Beasts series ⏤ as well as all other releases in the Harry Potter franchise ⏤ New Scamander and Harry Potter are not related.
Character development. Ginny is a pureblood witch born 11 August 1981, the seventh child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is sorted into Gryffindor house, along with the rest of her family.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin.
Harry Potter came very close to being sorted into Slytherin before he persuaded the Hat to sort him into Gryffindor. Yet the spectre of Slytherin haunted him for some time afterwards, becoming particularly potent in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, when he was rumoured to be the heir of Slytherin.
Hogwarts Years

Upon their arrival at Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat placed Snape and Lily into Slytherin and Gryffindor Houses, respectively.
Even J.K. Rowling says that Hufflepuff is her favorite House. It's produced the fewest Dark wizards of all four Houses. Hufflepuffs are down-to-earth. Literally, their House colors represent wheat and dirt, symbolizing their humility (rather than the precious metal secondary colors of the other Houses).
Then there are Ravenclaw-Hufflepuff pairings. While it can be assumed that Hufflepuffs get along with everyone, their unwavering loyalty and affection could sometimes be suffocating to the individualistic Ravenclaw. On the other hand, Hufflepuffs could bring out Ravenclaw's softer, more emotional side.
While plenty of respondents were sorted into Gryffindor (Harry Potter's House) or Slytherin (home to many of the books' budding villains), a majority were in either Ravenclaw (home to the studious and industrious) or Hufflepuff (the House of humility and diversity). This is not surprising.
