Realizing her potential, Nora is determined to catch Godpseed, but decides she must think like an evil speedster to do so. Ergo her first visit to Eobard Thawne, to pick his brain. Thawne immediately picks up on clues that his visitor is a speedster, but their time runs out before he can offer any assistance.
Nora needs Thawne's help to save her father. As we already know, Nora grew up without Barry because he disappeared in a future crisis. The sole reason she comes to the present is to prevent her father's disappearance. But she needs help to figure out how to save him.
he MANIPULATED NORA WEST-ALLEN
In the future, he did the same thing to Nora West-Allen, the daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen. Eobard was imprisoned in 2049, and Nora traveled back in time to become a member of Team Flash.
This specific version of her is when she accessed the Negative Speed Force in order to travel into time undetected. However, in the process, Nora became evil and the leader of the Young Rogues.
Thawne taught Nora how to travel through time using the Speed Force. Before her travel to the past, Thawne also taught Nora a language that he discovered so she could use it to write events of the early 21st century in her journal and to inform him about some of these events.
Nora West-Allen, also known as XS, was the daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen, who inherited her father's Speed Force abilities and was given her mother's trademark jacket from her temporary time as a speedster. After coming into conflict with Cicada and the Reverse-Flash, Nora was erased from existence.
Barry's speechless reaction feels very real and true to the character. How else would he react to finding out that Nora has been working with the man who killed his mother? He had a similar reaction when he began to suspect that Harrison Wells killed his mother.
Despite the lack of evidence in the film, however, The Flash's director Andy Muschietti seems to have revealed Nora's killer already: Reverse Flash, the canonical killer of Barry's mom.
They are people given a gift and a special purpose. Sooner or later, Barry and the rest of Team Flash will forgive Nora for lying because they knew that given the situation, they would have listened to Thawne because of the impact that he had on their lives.
Several months later, Barry received a video from Eobard (recorded prior to his death) where he admitted guilt to murdering Nora, allowing Barry to exonerate Henry.
Eobard used Nora so she could cause her and Team Flash to help him escape from his prison because Cicada's dagger was strapped to his chest. Once she and Team Flash destroyed the dagger in the past, in his present, the dagger was erased from existence and he was able to escape.
Thawne survives his erasure following Eddie's sacrifice due to his connection to the Negative Speed Force, which renders him immune to timeline changes.
Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) murdered Cisco (Carlos Valdes) for discovering his Reverse-Flash secret in Tuesday's episode of The Flash. In an emotional scene, Wells revealed that his real name is Eobard Thawne, and that though he loved Cisco like a son, he had to kill him.
“It was to pay homage to Barry's mother,” Helbing said. Nora Allen doesn't show up very often on 'The Flash', but her presence is felt throughout. Helbing explained that it made more sense for them to honor the memory of Barry's mother in this way rather than naming her Dawn.
When harnessing the Negative Speed Force, a speedster's eyes and the skin around the eyes can glow red. Red lightning flickering in Eobard Thawne's eyes. Nora West-Allen's glowing red eyes. Eobard Thawne's glowing red eyes while disguised as Harrison Wells.
By taking away Nora's powers, Iris was trying to save Nora from the multitude of very real dangers — from prejudice to death — that she would have faced as a metahuman or superhero, especially if she were outed as The Flash's daughter.
The reason why Season 9 stopped his past self from saving his mom is due to the fact that Nora's death is a fixed point in the timeline, meaning that it is supposed to happen in order for Barry to become the Flash in the future.
Episode 150 of The Flash features Nora West-Allen and Bart Allen, a.k.a. XS and Impulse, respectively, and while they are fast, Barry Allen is still faster than his children.
At the end of A Doll's House, Nora makes the ultimate assertion of her agency and independence by walking out on her husband and her children in order to truly understand herself and learn about the world.
Thawne is humiliated by his idol, and when he learns that he is destined to become Flash's greatest enemy, he goes insane and vows to catch Barry Allen and destroy his life. The same goes for his counterpart in the DC comics.
In the series Flash Forward, it was determined that Wally West is the fastest being in the whole Multiverse.
Barry's brother Malcolm Thawne (yes, Thawne) grew up resentful of his twin brother. Thanks to a magical talisman, Malcolm was able to gain speed powers and become the villainous Cobalt Blue.

The main reason why Nora only has purple lightning in this timeline is because of her brother Bart West-Allen, a.k.a. Impulse. After Nora reunited with Barry, Bart rushed in and was seen having yellow lightning.
