Ginny is the youngest in the Weasley family but one would argue that she is the most powerful. The movies show a little bit of it but in the books, she can throw some pretty powerful spells right alongside Hermione, who happens to be one of her closest friends.
Ginny Weasley
The film adaptations of the books did Ginny Weasley wrong. The youngest Weasley child and only daughter wasn't just Harry Potter's love interest, she was an extremely capable witch who arguably had more power than her famous partner.
From a young age, Ginny Weasley is pretty much renowned for her magic. Fred and George make the comment that her bat-bogey hex is both powerful and terrifying. It's often said as a joke but as the series moves on and Ginny grows, it becomes pretty obvious that she does have extremely powerful magic.
Ginny Weasley's growth over the series was nothing short of inspirational. She grew from being too timid to even be in the same room as Harry, let alone speak to him, into a strong, confident, brave woman with her own considerable talents. An ace on a broom, a troublemaker, a warrior.
During his sixth year, Harry discovers that he finds Ginny to be a source of constant hilarity. When he is sixteen, Harry develops feelings for Ginny, but it is not her physical attributes that he spends the bulk of his time thinking about; rather, it is her humour.
Ginny's temper, along with her penchant for cruel bullying seemed to be celebrated by many of the series' characters and J.K. Rowling, herself.
Ginny and the Bat Bogey Hex
Ginny Weasley's aptitude for the Bat Bogey Hex was impressive enough to earn her the admiration of no less a talent-spotter than Professor Slughorn.
Ginevra Molly Weasley (also known as Ginny) is the youngest child and only daughter of the Weasley family. She is Sorted into Slytherin during Harry and Jim Potter's second year.
1 Bellatrix Lestrange Is A Natural At Magic
She's a supremely powerful Death Eater, even in the company of Lucius Malfoy, Augustus Rookwood and Antonin Dolohov. Bellatrix can cast the most potent dueling spells with ease, to the point she can duel multiple Order of the Phoenix members and treat it like a game.
Albus Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard in the Harry Potter. Dumbledore seemed like a lovely older man and the Headmaster of Hogwarts who only wanted the best for everyone when Harry first met him.

Dumbledore (Richard Harris and Michael Gambon) may not have been the one to ultimately defeat Voldemort, but he was frequently cited as the only person Voldemort ever feared -- meaning he was the main rival of both of the most infamous Dark wizards in modern history.
1 Hermione Granger Is The Smartest Witch Of Her Age And The Strongest Hogwarts Student In The Series.
Ginny is a pureblood witch born 11 August 1981, the seventh child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is sorted into Gryffindor house, along with the rest of her family.
She is a powerful witch with abilities rooted in her strength, determination, and fortitude. Early in the series, Hermione established herself as a force to be reckoned with, but when push comes to shove, she wasn't near the level of skill needed to defeat the likes of Bellatrix Lestrange.
Harry is the Heir of Gryffindor (though his powers have been bound by his father when he was a baby), Neville is the Heir of Hufflepuff, Meghan (OFC, daughter of Sirius) is the Heir of Ravenclaw. Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks. Sixth year. After a rare magical illness Harry becomes outstandingly powerful.
The Heir of Slytherin turns out to be Ginny Weasley, who is being controlled via a magical diary that once belonged to Tom Riddle, AKA Voldemort.
Ginny Weasley was able to speak Parseltongue while she was possessed by Tom Riddle's Diary, which enabled her to open the Chamber of Secrets.
Anxiety/depression – One of the teenage characters refers to a dark time he went through recently. His mother (played by Jennifer Robertson ofSchitt's Creek) also mentions it. Ginny clearly struggles with anxiety.
The Killing Curse ('Avada Kedavra')
Obviously there's no coming back from this spell, and according to the Ministry of Magic's classifications (and, again, fake-Moody) this is the worst Unforgivable Curse.
Roughly translated, Expelliarmus – the Disarming Charm – means 'to drive out a weapon' and that's what it does: forces the subject to drop whatever they're holding.
Ginny was proficient at charms and curses, capable of holding her own against Death Eaters, including helping Hermione and Luna Lovegood to duel Bellatrix Lestrange. She was even able to cast a full-bodied Patronus, taking the form of a horse and is considered an extremely advanced spell.
Piper McLean: Her fatal flaw is her low self-esteem. Being a daughter of a seemingly 'useless' love goddess, Aphrodite, she thinks herself as useless and invaluable. She feels so poor of herself that it causes her to get constantly bullied by kids from Wilderness School.
The Reductor Curse can blast solid objects into pieces with minimal effort. Over the course of the Dumbledore's Army lessons in The Order Of The Phoenix, Reducto becomes the unofficial spell for Ginny Weasley.
