She accidentally put her prints on it after Rio killed the graphic designer, Lucy, to ensure secrecy regarding their counterfeiting ring. However, Annie secretly went to Mick and asked him to put her prints on the weapon as she felt Beth could take better care of their kids if a fall guy was needed.
Mick showed up at Beth's house to kill her as revenge for her flipping on Nick – leading to him being put behind bars.
Although she didn't come right out and say it in that scene, the implication was that Annie wanted Mick to take her prints and put them on the gun that killed Lucy, so that Annie would be the one to go to jail rather than Beth if Rio turned the gun into the authorities.
Why did Annie get arrested? Annie put her fingerprints on the gun. I believe it was in season 4 episode 1. She discussed it with Mick.
After Beth and the ladies lost Rio's money in a casino in Canada, he kidnapped Annie as collateral until they paid him back. It was obvious that Mick would never do anything to harm Annie, but she wasn't going to test her luck either.
Mae Whitman as Annie Marks, Beth's younger sister and mother of Ben. Ben was born when Annie was still a teenager. Annie works at Fine & Frugal for a majority of the series.
I think Annie's somewhere between 8 and 10 years younger than Beth, which would therefore make her 34 at the absolute oldest, and 31 at the youngest (which I think is more accurate and fits a bit better in the sense of Sadie's age and when we know Annie had him).
It is later revealed that he is an undercover agent for the F.B.I assigned to become intimate with Annie to uncover secrets. However, he ended up truly falling in love with her and her son Ben and so he is still dating her despite her being aware of her criminal activities.
When the girls were in their teens, Beth caught Annie smoking pot but promised not tell their parents. At a young age, Annie became rebellious and eventually met and slept with a boy named Gregg, resulting in Annie becoming pregnant.
She's Not, But the Printing Process Saves Her Life. Is Beth pregnant on 'Good Girls? ' Although she's not pregnant, Rio forcing her to show him the printing process ultimately saves her life.
NBC's midseason drama Good Girls made one major change after it was picked up to series, replacing leading lady Kathleen Rose Perkins (Episodes) with Mad Men alum Christina Hendricks. And to hear showrunner Jenna Bans tell it, that change had nothing to do with Perkins — or a network note.
They ended up having a sexual encounter which convinced fans there was more to their relationship than just the cat-and-mouse game. Actor Montana revealed Beth and Rio do in fact love each other on a certain level.
Beth wakes up back in Michigan, realizing that Nevada was just a dream. Her gunshot wound isn't fatal, and in fact, the shooting was all a setup. Mick left his gun behind, and it's the same gun used to kill counterfeit cash printer Lucy (Charlyne Yi) during season 3.
Ruby (Retta) learns that Stan (Reno Wilson) isn't cheating on her, but he is in deep with his boss.
Decades ago, Beth had an abortion, which this same brother had cosigned for. But he had withheld from her that the women's clinic where she would get the abortion required she also get a full hysterectomy—a far-too-common practice at clinics that provided care for indigenous women until well into the 1970s.
According to a reveal by Yellowstone stars, Jamie believes he acted in his sister's best interest by having Beth sterilized. Taking her to an abortion clinic at the Indian Reservation was the only way to keep the incident from John and protect Rip as well.
The third season episode titled 'Cowboys and Dreamers' shows how Beth was about fifteen years old when she became pregnant. Beth was hooking up with Rip at that time and it is implied that the baby was his. She wasn't very sure of how her father would react so she reaches out to her brother, Jamie, for help.
Seeking to bring these women down, Boomer formed an alliance with Jim Turner. He was later ran over by Mary Pat, his rape victim and forced fiancée in which he was presumed dead. However, it is later revealed that he survived the encounter and had been staying with his grandmother.
But it's a lie that she can only keep up for so long. She's not actually pregnant, and it doesn't seem like she will be any time soon. After lying to Rio, Beth tried to conceive a baby with her husband Dean. But weeks of trying led to nothing, and he eventually figured out what she was doing.
Nick didn't want to do that to a single father but he was left with no choice. To make it worse, he doesn't know if the cop did contact the FBI and leak intel. Either way, Nick decides to take it out on Rio, cornering him as he's training. Rio was a boxer in his heyday so he and Nick spar a bit.
This would mean that Beth and Dean probably got married around the time Beth was 20 (and Annie was 12), and that Beth and Dean had Kenny when Beth was about 28-29ish, while Annie had Ben when she was approximately 18.
Beth and Rio's complex, tense connection enables her to rise above him by the series' end. Beth learns how to embrace her bravery and confidence from Rio's strong personality. She doesn't want to be in a relationship with him and, instead, uses him so she can become a leader.
In the finale, Annie was taken away in cuffs, seemingly taking the fall for the gun which killed Lucy (Charlyne Yi). But would she remain imprisoned? We find it hard to believe that Beth would allow her sister to rot away in jail but it's definitely a loose end that would have been better off resolved.
She is a spunky, optimistic, energetic eleven-year old (10 in the 1982 film) orphan girl.
