Watermarks -- or water stains -- are often caused by cold glasses, spills, or hot dishes places directly on the wood. Luckily, though, they aren't always permanent.
To remove watermarks from multiple PDFs, close any open PDFs and choose Tools > Edit PDF > Watermark > Remove.
Choose Document > Watermark > Add. Specify the watermark: To reuse a watermark and watermark options that you saved in an earlier session, select it from the Saved Settings menu. To create a text watermark, select Text, and type the text in the box.

But is this legal? Well, removing a watermark without the original owner's consent is illegal in the US, according to the US Copyright Section Act 1202.
Remove a watermark by clicking the header area
If you can't delete a watermark using Remove Watermark, try this: Double-click near the top of the page to open the header area. Click the watermark to select it. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Watermarked PDF
These PDF files are digitally watermarked to signify that you are the owner. A small message is added to the bottom of each page of the PDF containing your name and the order number of your purchase.

When you access the header of the document, expand the Select drop down at the right hand end of the Home tab of the ribbon and select "Select Objects" The mouse cursor will change to an arrow head and with that, you should be able to select the watermark that is in the Header and then press Delete.
