This is a big problem for Iron Man- his regular armor is nowhere near powerful enough and the armor he made specifically to fight the Hulk never works how it should. Add all of that up and the result is simple- Hulk smash puny armored man.
She-Hulk is at her most powerful in this rage-consumed moment, and yet Iron Man takes her down in a single shot, revealing that with more than ten miles of acceleration behind him, Tony Stark strikes with a power more familiar from Marvel's gods than even its most accomplished inventors.
Hulk has traditionally been seen as the strongest Avenger physically — and for good reason, though he's been subdued by both Iron Man and Thor.
In this fight, Iron Man is the winner after knocking the Hulk out cold. Iron Man maintains his superiority in The Incredible Hulk #131, in which the Hulk and Bruce are already separated and Iron Man is helping General Ross remerge them.
In both Marvel Comics and the MCU, Iron Man is no pushover, but one story showed that even with his full arsenal, he can be taken down singlehandedly by the Guardians of the Galaxy's Gamora.
Captain America is physically stronger than Iron Man, whether with his suit or not. If they both entered a ring-to-box hand-to-hand combat, Captain America would destroy Iron Man in that fight. However, if we consider all features in their respective arsenals, Iron Man would literally toast Cap.
Iron Man was basically powerless against the God of Thunder. Thor stopped short of beating Iron Man to death, but he made sure that Iron Man knew that there was nothing he could do to Thor if Thor pressed the issue.
Iron-Man. Of course, this is the man who is actually able to defeat Thanos in the end, sacrificing himself in order to kill him. He loses his own life to do that, proving just how unselfish he is at his core, with Iron-Man's power and strength of character being the overwhelming power for him.
Whether it was magic-wielding sorcerers like Doctor Strange or entire teams like The Avengers, almost nothing can get in Hulk's way when he's on a rampage. Though he has beaten the best of the best, only his biggest victories left readers stunned at the sheer power of Bruce Banner's alter ego.
Thor. Blessed with the powers and long life of a god, Thor was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the initial version of the Avengers. Not only can he fly and transport between worlds, but he was also the only one capable of taking down Thanos, even after he had assembled all six Infinity Stones.
Alex Summers aka Havok may not be as popular as his more famous brother, but he is easily one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe. Summers' powers exploit one of the Hulk's few weaknesses, allowing him to defeat the green behemoth with shocking simplicity.
Apocalypse. Apocalypse makes his way into this position on the list because he is technically stronger than the Hulk. He also has a multitude of other abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and shapeshifting. And that's just touching the surface of his powers.
Before he can defeat him, the Immortal Hulk is stopped by the Savage Hulk, who is being emotionally manipulated by the Leader. The Immortal Hulk is beheaded by a monstrous Leader and his heart is ripped out. His corpse, alongside Banner, is taken to the Below-Place by the Leader.
The Avengers and Fantastic Four died to stop him. During that ultimate sacrifice, Hulk also died. Jean Grey shut down Bruce Banner's brain, turning Hulk into a savage. The two ended up separated, and Hulk ended up in an irradiated cocoon, one that killed Hulk completely, which led to a new Hulk being horn.
So, there you have it. Thanos beats Hulk every time, with or without the Infinity Gauntlet. But World Breaker Hulk defeats Thanos. However, Thanos could beat the Hulk if he had the Gauntlet (He could wipe out the Universe).
Fans know Spider-Man is strong, but Marvel confirms Peter Parker has the strength to not only survive a Hulk attack, but take him down too.
The polished fighting style of Thanos proved too much for Hulk and his overall brutality and savagery. Hulk had the upper hand for all of two seconds due to the element of surprise before Thanos was able to finish the fight with a few quick blows.
