Self-Sustenance: Starfire can survive in the vacuum of space without any sort of protection or survival gear. She also doesn't get as cold as others and will be unharmed by very cold weather. Invulnerability: Starfire has demonstrated moderate invulnerability to physical harm.
Tamaraneans like Starfire (Teen Titans) possess nine stomachs, giving them ravenous appetites.
One of the strongest regenerating heroes, Starfire mostly only heals herself (unlike Atlantean Armor Aquaman), but if she has enough of the right stats she could make all attempts to damage her futile by healing more than any special can inflict.
So while she doesn't need to eat, sleep, drink, or even breathe unless she's low on ultraviolet energy, Starfire does need to have her share of praise and appreciation.
Starfire once used her nine stomachs to her advantage to avoid being brainwashed by Mother Mae-Eye's food, controlling which stomach her food can go to.
Weaknesses. Starfire, like Tamaraneans, is allergic to metallic chromium. When she sneezes, she unleashes explosive starbolt energy out of her nose and mouth. Starfire's powers are based on her emotions, so when she is emotionally confused, when she couldn't fly, her powers are more likely to not work properly.
Deriving from being raised on the culture of her homeworld Tamaran, where it's acceptable to have open marriage, Starfire's sex-positivism and free-thinking habits such as a fondness for practicing nudism, openness to polygamous relationships and acceptance of "open sex" and pansexual "free-love" with persons ...
Kory has explained it in the show but, as I remember it's because, she's charging from the sun. So, when she uses her powers a lot she needs to recharge. And there's no sun at night.
Powers and abilities
In "Betrothed", she seemed to be physically stronger and more powerful than Starfire as Blackfire was able to lift a large pillar, which only came as a result of the Jewel of Charta. After Starfire destroyed the gem, her superhuman abilities were reduced to their normal power-levels.
She is able to eat a lot of food because she has nine stomachs inside her body to do all of the digesting. The nine stomachs are most likely why she is able to stay so thin and tiny! Plenty of human beings wish that they had what she has so that they could eat whatever they wanted without any repercussions.
In New Titans #130 (1995), Starfire was said to be pregnant. She had fallen in love with and married a Tamaranean general named Ph'yzzon, but Raven - who was evil at the time - caused the destruction of the planet. They settled on a planet they called New Tamaran.
17-year-old Mandy is the daughter of Starfire, but she looks and acts nothing like her - she's overweight, she's a goth, she hates the world, and she doesn't have superpowers.
In Teen Titans, Starfire has red hair, but in Teen Titans Go!, Starfire has pink hair.
Starfire actually doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep. She doesn't even require an atmosphere to breathe. Apparently, since her body absorbs ultraviolet radiation, it provides her body with all the energy it needs.
Limited Invulnerability - Kori's body, especially her skin, is more dense than your average human body. This not only gives her some resistance to blunt damage, like a punch from Superman without dying straightaway, but makes her pretty much immune to everyday bullets and swords made of common metals.
Robin asks Slade why Starfire was unable to see him, and he replies that he had been using cloaking technology.
She is partially bulletproof. I say partially because she doesn't have total invulnerability. Superman can have bullets pepper his chest all day and suffer no ill consequences. Starfire can survive the occasional blast, but if she is hammered enough, her invulnerability takes a dip.
1 Who Is The Stronger Titan: Raven
Starfire is incredibly powerful with her starbolts, stellar energy absorption, and superhuman abilities. However, when rivaled against Raven's telekinetic, world-ending powers, Starfire would be outmatched.
Appearance. Starfire's overall appearance is intended to be beautiful. Her pink hair is down to her legs and straight with bangs. She has small eyebrows, and sparkling green eyes.
Robin. Robin is Starfire's main love interest, best friend and arguably the love of her life. However, Starfire and Robin's meeting was initially a harsh one; revealed in the episode "Go!" they began embedding each other in combat.
Robin and Starfire ultimately fell in love in the comic books series and had a lasting relationship. Just as this episode illustrates, Starfire absorbed Robin's language through a kiss in the now-classic scene from "The New Teen Titans" (vol. 1) #2.
Pieck's Cart Titan is arguably the weakest of the Nine, but it comes with several advantages. Unlike its eight brethren, the Cart Titan walks on all four legs, making it an excellent method of transport. Pieck often has large structures attached to her back, which carry both people and weapons.
Starfire was born and raised on the distant planet Tamaran before arriving on Earth and joining the Teen Titans. Her race, the Tamaraneans, are an emotional race who see feelings as the force that drives their very livelihood.
Starfire is much Stronger than Robin.
