During DC Comics' latest Crisis that will decide the fate of the Multiverse,
While Superman is one of the most powerful heroes in the DC Universe, enhanced to godlike levels by the Sun's radiation, The Flash's physics-defying powers are capable of killing him not by playing on his famous vulnerability to magic or his weakness to Kryptonite, but simply by hitting him so hard, even his ...
Flash Is Fast Enough to Beat Superman's Invulnerability
Flash's skin and bones have the same consistency as when he was alive at this moment, so the fact his fingers are able to penetrate Superman's skin shows that at his max speed, Flash has enough momentum to essentially strike harder than Clark's skin can resist.
Could Flash's hand phase through Superman's chest? Yes it could, phasing directly bypasses durability which makes Superman's Kryptonian skin rather useless against it. Flash phases by moving his own molecules through the gaps of he object's molecules.
In a straight-out race, Flash would win against Superman, although closely. When they raced in the comics, sometimes Flash won, and sometimes it was tied, but Superman never bested him. However, in a one-on-one fight, I think Superman eventually wins simply on durability.
As a general rule, the comics claim that The Flash is the faster hero, with Barry Allen, Wally West and even an octogenarian Jay Garrick having outrun Superman over the years.
It's been proven by now that Superman can't outrun the Flash, but it turns out he's still fast enough to keep up with Flash's top speed - albeit barely.
If a lightning bolt summoned from the sky was flung at Superman, it would bounce right off him. But if the lightning bolt is infused with magic, then it can pierce through his bio-electric aura and damage him. Nearly every defense that Superman has can be taken down with just a bit of magic.
In the series Flash Forward, it was determined that Wally West is the fastest being in the whole Multiverse.
When performing the Infinite Mass Punch, The Flash runs just under the speed of light, and per the Laws of Relativity his mass increases exponentially until he reaches the Relativistic Mass of a White Dwarf Star.
Flash is not faster than Superman while flying
He can manipulate time, phase through objects, and even siphon speed from others. This fact alone will always make him the fastest being in the room.
To keep it short: NO. Superman's heart is as invulnerable as the rest of him.
While it is fairly obvious that the Flash could run circles around Thanos under normal circumstances as his powers make him virtually untouchable, there wouldn't be much the Scarlet Speedster could do if he was around for Thanos' Infinity Snap as there is no way to outrun the god-like power of cosmic chance.
But an hour and 25 minutes into the stream, Snyder got to one of the film's most polarizing moments: Ezra Miller's cameo as Barry Allen/The Flash, who appears out of time rift to warn Batman about future events with no explanation.
A lot of people can't function without their morning cup of coffee, but the Flash is the exact opposite, effectively making caffeine his kryptonite. Comic fans might be surprised to learn that the Flash's secret version of kryptonite is a common household drink–coffee.
Flash is unimaginably faster than Quicksilver due to having basically infinite speed at his disposal. Flash, due to his incredible speed, has a vast array of additional powers and abilities at his disposal that he can utilize to generate powerful and destructive forces.
In a competition of speed between the Blue Blur and the Scarlet Speedster, it will take more than math and science to really comprehend their overall speed. However, taking all things we know into account, Flash would win a typical race against Sonic the Hedgehog and come out as the faster of the two.
Shazam can fly at the speed of light, which makes him faster than almost any other hero, but both Barry Allen and Wally West are able to move at speeds faster than light, meaning that while they would have to push themselves, at least two Flashes are faster than Shazam.
Even though Superman is often considered the most powerful character in the DC Universe, Shazam definitely comes close, and he can even beat the Man of Steel. And with a massive power upgrade, there's no question that Shazam can meet Superman blow for blow—despite the upgrade's terrible side effects.
The Flash can hit pretty hard with his incredible speed, but his strength is nowhere near the level of Captain Marvel. In addition to her ability to fly and resilience, Captain Marvel's powerful energy blasts could trip up The Flash.
Wally West (DC)
In that regard, he became a lot faster than Barry Allen and was able to showcase his incredible speed when, at one point, he appeared out of nowhere to give his former mentor a boost. That is how fast Wally is, as he can easily outpace the most popular version of the Flash.
Doomsday's invulnerability would make it very hard for Flash to hurt him, but Flash has a secret weapon- the infinite mass punch. One's mass increases the closer they get to the speed of light until it's infinite. Doomsday can take a lot of damage, but the infinite mass punch would spell the end for him.
