Mythological zeus stomps all version of Superman. I mean it's clear. We are comparing a real God in a real pantheon to a 1930s comic character. But overally Zeus wins 9/10 fights.
In a fight, all Zeus would need to do is get his hands on some kryptonite to weaken Superman and easily defeat him. While Superman would likely still give a good fight, it's unlikely he'd be able to defeat a god. Since Zeus has all of the Olympian Gods under his control, finding kryptonite wouldn't be difficult.
1 DARKSEID
It just so happens that one of the many gods Darkseid has beaten or killed is also Zeus, along with the other Olympians-- it was basically an Mt. Olympus clearing operation.
But Superman is scaled differently and is also able to defeat gods in the DC universe. As such, the only chance that Kratos has against the Man of Steel is if he is able to get his hands on a magical weapon strong enough to damage or kill Superman.
Athena and Aphrodite can defeat Zeus. In the context of Greek mythology, there are a few candidates for gods even more powerful than Zeus. The foremost among them would be Nyx, the goddess of the night. ... Erebus - second born from primodrial chaos, god of Darkness. ...
Pindar calls Typhon the "enemy of the gods", and says that he was defeated by Zeus' thunderbolt. In one poem Pindar has Typhon being held prisoner by Zeus under Etna, and in another says that Typhon "lies in dread Tartarus", stretched out underground between Mount Etna and Cumae.
Zeus is king of the gods and has the strength, power, and durability to prove it, but the gods introduced in Blood ofZeus pale in comparison to Beerus. Though Goku is still unable to defeat the god of destruction, he would certainly defeat Zeus.
Even though Superman is often considered the most powerful character in the DC Universe, Shazam definitely comes close, and he can even beat the Man of Steel. And with a massive power upgrade, there's no question that Shazam can meet Superman blow for blow—despite the upgrade's terrible side effects.
3 Darkseid Has Previously Beaten Superman
If one can deal with his telepathic and telekinetic abilities, they must deal with the Omega Beams and his deadly Life Draining power. Superman can't take on Darkseid alone. The entire Justice League still struggled to face this celestial being.
Superman is stronger than Thor and would win a fight against him the majority of the time. Superman has physical strength, speed, and durability as his advantage. That isn't to say that it would be an easy fight, Thor still has access to magic, and this is one of the most notable weaknesses of Superman.
Zeus would have the home turf advantage in this fight, as he rarely leaves Olympus. However, he's also just not used to fighting like Thor is. Zeus is certainly more powerful than Thor in many ways, but he's not a fighter like Thor is.
Superhuman Strength: Like all Olympians, Zeus is superhumanly strong. His strength is far superior to the vast majority of his race and he is capable of lifting over 100 tons, without supplementing his strength with his other powers.
Thor: Love and Thunder's Zeus, much like his comic book and Greek mythology counterparts, is an ancient being that's almost impossible to destroy.
Hercules is very strong but that's pretty much it. While he's a demi-god, he doesn't really have a magic weapon or skill he can use beyond his strength and that's going to cost him against Superman.
"The Power of Zeus:" Shazam's Most Underrated Power Makes Him Stronger Than a God (Literally) Shazam's powers include the nebulous 'Power of Zeus' - an ability that actually enhances his other gifts, making him stronger than the gods.
Zeus almost undoubtedly takes this. Hulk, even in his World Breaker form, would have an extremely low probability of winning. First of all, Zeus is a top tier Marvel Skyfather and in many ways similar to Odin who is immensely powerful.
Most people know about Superman's aversion to Kryptonite. Surprisingly, that isn't even his greatest weakness! In fact, magic circumnavigates all of his biological abilities. No matter what color of sun he's under, no matter what the situation is, magic is extremely effective against Superman.
While we've established that a number of characters have been a match for Superman, his most notorious defeat is clearly his death at the hands of the monster Doomsday.
The Man of Steel can only be defeated by Captain Marvel using energy absorption. Captain Marvel, a Kree-Human hybrid, is a cosmic-level superhero who has overcome even greater challenges. Although Superman truly is the pinnacle of strength, if Captain Marvel can find a way to depower him, it's game over for him.
In short, Black Adam should be Shazam's equal, but some of his powers are beyond Billy Batson's abilities. Black Adam also has allies that help him overcome entire squads of superheroes. Then, Black Adam has a lot of combat experience, while Shazam is, in fact, a child.
Whether Shazam is faster than Superman really depends on the writers. Sometimes Shazam has been depicted as vastly surpassing Superman both on foot and in flight, and in some newer instances, Shazam has been depicted as slower.
So, Who Wins in the End? Taking all of these things into account, checking the numbers, ticking the boxes, and pure old gut instinct, it's obvious that the winner in a fight between Superman and Black Adam is... Superman.
Why is Zeus the strongest god? Zeus is the strongest of the gods in the Ancient Greek religion because he has both power and intelligence. He is able to ensure that he is not replaced by another, more powerful deity.
Odin has pretty clearly been shown to be demonstrable more powerful than the other gods. Odin's Odinforce has far outstripped anything Zeus's magical lightning bolts have ever done.
Hercules. Hercules possesses the greatest strength of all the Olympians and is stronger than even his father, Zeus. His strength exceeds that of most other powerful Marvel Comics icons, which he proved when he took away Mjölnir from a Thor clone in Civil War, one of the best Marvel Comics events.
