Seeing no escape route, she made a last-ditch effort to save Inosuke by dropping him into the river below the cliff. She was then devoured by Doma. Later on, Inosuke was discovered and raised by boars.
In Chapter #160 of the Demon Slayer manga, titled “Similar Features, Returning Memories”, Doma, a powerful Upper Rank Two Demon, recognizes Inosuke's face during a battle. To remember him exactly, he pierces his own skull and swirls his finger around his brain.
Summary. A mother boar raised Inosuke Hashibira ever since he was young and thrown to safety into water by his mother shortly before she died. Inosuke Hashibara was born to Kotoha Hashibira and an unnamed father. His father was abusive, as well as his grandmother, which is why Kotoha ran away from them with Inosuke while he was still a baby.
In her final moments, she apologized to Inosuke for failing to protect him and tosses him into the river as an attempt to save his life. She was ultimately killed and eaten by Doma, who claimed to have devoured her to the bone.

Although Inosuke refuses to acknowledge that he has met him before, Doma explores his memories and reveals that he met Inosuke when he was a child, and was responsible for killing his mother, causing Inosuke to fill with hatred and engage in combat with the Demon.

The only reason why Muzan hates Doma is because of his insincerity and lack of emotions. This might sound odd, expecting emotions from a demon, but even a demon has to retain such tendencies to keep things in order.

It is confirmed in the Volume 23 extras that Inosuke and Aoi did eventually end up together and that they have two great-grandsons, one of which is Aoba.
He considered these stories extremely boring and was confused why they came to a child for help. These people asked him to lead them to paradise, causing Doma to cry, since he never believed paradise, the gods and Buddha were real.

Rengoku is easily one of the most lovable Hashira in Demon Slayer. This is why it's a shame that he succumbed to the wounds that he suffered in his fight against Akaza.

This makes him one of the weakest Hashiras, but his overall abilities as a swordsman is quite impressive.
Everyone knows that Shinobu is the kind insect Hashira with extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs. She injects the demons with her poisons, killing them with a smile. To fellow demon slayers, she comes off as cheerful, polite, and occasionally playful when she's teasing others.
