Following the teachings of the Quran, Muslim mothers often aim to breastfeed their babies until the age of two years. This refers to the Islamic months—the lunar year—so it will be approximately 22 days before the child reaches his/her second birthday.
PIP: Islamic law requires mothers to breast feed their children for 2 years. the father must assist the mother in breast feeding the children by providing her with food and clothing. If the father dies or does not live at home, the heir must support the mother thereby allowing her to breast feed her infants.
The Qur'an recommends mothers breastfeed their babies for two years. In the Qur'an, God says the father must help the mother breastfeed the baby. Even if the father is dead or does not live in the house, the heir must support the mother and thus force her to breastfeed her babies.
Islam has granted her that concession. Some people preach that it is selfish for a mother to wean her child before two years. That to give her child baby formula is against the rulings of Islam. That 2 full years of breastfeeding is incumbent upon the mother according to Islamic law.
Although breastfeeding someone else's child is permissible in Islam, women who become milk mothers need to understand the effects in Shariah law, especially if they have established milk kinship with the infants. The problem among milk mothers is that they might not know the legal effects in terms of Shariah law.
"Mothers shall breastfeed their children for two whole years, for those who wish to complete the term" (2:233). Also, in reminding people to treat their parents with kindness, the Qur'an says: "His mother carried him, in weakness upon weakness, and his period of weaning is two years" (31:14).
To be clear, Islam isn't against milk donation and other life-saving interventions. If there is an emergency and the only option is to use a milk bank, then there is no problem whatsoever from a religious perspective, says Mohammed Ghaly, a professor of Islamic bioethics at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar.
Drinking your wife's milk is halal, kosher, vegan and extremely ethical. Humans are the only animal who drink milk as adults so they should only drink milk produced by their own specie, so many women getting pregnant, which mean we should have a huge milk production for sale.
The fatwa said that if a woman fed a male colleague "directly from her breast" at least five times they would establish a family bond and thus be allowed to be alone together at work. "Breast feeding an adult puts an end to the problem of the private meeting, and does not ban marriage," he ruled.
No it does not. Breast-feeding has no bearing on the validity of the ablution or prayer. What invalidates ablution is a discharge through one's genitals. Hence, not every physical discharge invalidates ablution.
FOREPLAY. Foreplay between the spouses before actually engaging into sexual intercourse is immensely important (especially for the wife) and a vital ingredient for a happy and prosperous marriage, that which should never be neglected. The husband should sexually arouse his wife before having sex.
It's sunnah, which means it's the tradition of our prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In another Hadith, reported by Abu Dawood, it states that 'The removal of harm is shaving the head. ' Muslims believe that shaving a baby's head removes him from harm and weakness.
It is believed in Islam that deceased fetuses will visit their parents at heaven gates. They even may guide their mothers if they are patient and have hope in God's rewards.
Imam al-Nawawi stated in al-Majmu': It is sunnah to shave the hair of a newborn baby on the seventh day. Our madhhab stated that it is also sunnah to give in charity the equivalent weight in gold of the weight of the baby's hair.
Islam also forbids improper disposal of breast milk and it should not be sold. Even though donation of human milk is perfectly allowed and even praised as a virtue, the belief in Islam that makes the establishment of milk banks in the Islamic world at least a complex issue is the following.
Muslim men and women are required by the Sunnah to shave their pubic hair and axillae. Also, Muslim men are not supposed to shave their beards, but are encouraged to shave their moustaches, according to the Sunnah.
Amongst Muslims, hair removal is part of an impulse towards general purity and cleanliness and includes the trimming of nails and the removing of armpit and pubic hair. Both men and women should remove armpit and pubic hair at least every forty days.
While religion has not yet been examined related to pubic hair removal, in Muslim culture today, both men and women are encouraged to remove armpit and pubic hair [13].
In addition to Judaism and Christianity, Islam also forbids men to have vaginal sexual intercourse with their wives during menstruation (Surah al-Baqarah 2:222).
The Prophet (SAW) instructs husbands to first of all, make their wives comfortable in bed with him. The husband should sexually arouse his wife before having sex. It is indeed selfish on the husband's part that he fulfils his sexual needs and desires, whilst his wife remains unsatisfied and discontented.
She takes care of the children, raises them well with education and manners, protects the wealth, and also provides physical and mental support to her husband.
Mothers infected with human T-cell lymphotropic virus type I or type II should not breast feed their babies. Mothers who are taking illegal drugs like cocaine, PCP, heroin, marijuana etc. are not allowed to breastfeed their babies. This is because these agents can affect the baby and cause serious side effects.
It is permissible for the breastfeeding mother to recite Qur'aan whilst breastfeeding her infant, and there is nothing wrong with it, even if she reads from the Mushaf, so long as she has wudoo'.
