After
As a young Jedi Knight, Anakin lost a hand in a battle with Count Dooku, which received a robotic replacement. He later returned the favor by removing both of Dooku's hands. Eventually, he lost both his legs and his remaining arm in the climactic duel on Mustafar between both he and Obi-Wan.
Good question. The answer is actually fairly simple. It wast keep a better grip on his lightsaber. The right hand he kept covered after Dooku cut it off in Attack of the Clones, so even if Anakin didn't wear the glove on that hand, he was going to have a gd grip on it.
Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Later, we have the first of Anakin's many limb removals: Count Dooku cuts off his arm during their duel.
Lightsaber cut burns tissue of flesh you know. As flesh and cells get burned, body parts cannot be reattached.
In the duel, Anakin lost both of his legs, his one remaining organic arm, and suffered (possibly up to) fourth-degree burns across what was left of his body that were severe enough to damage his internal organs.
Darth Vader lost his left arm and both legs when Obi-Wan Kenobi defeated him on Mustafar. After turning to the dark side of the Force, Skywalker severed Mace Windu's right hand to save Darth Sidious when Windu tried to kill the latter.
Count Dooku was not sad after cutting off Anakin's arm in Episode II: Attack of the Clones (AOTC). He was ready to kill Anakin, and only the entrance of Yoda spared the Jedi's life.
During his confrontation with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, Anakin Skywalker was first maimed by lightsabre cuts. He lost both legs around the knees, and much of his left arm. He fell onto a slope of volcanic sand, and slid helplessly to the edge of a lava river.
As Anakin jumped off the floating platform, his intentions were evil-- he was looking to cut Obi-Wan in half the way Kenobi himself had once done to Darth Maul. Therefore, Obi-Wan striking Anakin was merely self-defense, or at least that's what Kenobi must tell himself so he can sleep at night.
Conclusion. Anakin fulfilled all the requirements of the Chosen One, because his creator wrote him to fulfill the prophecy of the Chosen One. He wrote him to fulfill the Will of the Force, which said only that he would be born when the Force was out of balance to correct it.
Darth Vader's true identity was a closely guarded secret, and only a handful of people knew he was really Anakin Skywalker. Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker was a celebrated hero of the Clone Wars, and the galaxy believed he was killed during Order 66, along with the rest of the Jedi.
So, all of his limbs are, in fact, intact. However, Kylo Ren didn't walk out of that fight squeaky clean. We do know that Kylo is sporting a brand-new scar, which makes him even more like his granddad Darth Vader.
Anakin killed 3 known Jedi Masters during his massacre of the Jedi temple. All of which were of especially high note within the order.
Oppo Rancisis was born on the rocky temperate world of Thisspias to royal parents and was the heir to the Thisspiasian Blood Monarchy. Although he was of royal heritage, Rancisis joined the Jedi Order at a young age and became the Padawan learner of Jedi Master Yaddle.
Because his body had been severely burned on Mustafar, Darth Vader was thought to have lost much of his Force potential, although he nonetheless retained an incredibly high midi-chlorian count. As Darth Vader, Skywalker was believed to have had roughly eight-tenths of the strength of the Emperor.
The hatred that Palpatine encouraged to take over Anakin's entire being was a direct pipeline to his suffering. His suffering was rooted internally as he battled his own morality against external forces that controlled how he perceived the world around him.
Star Wars has revealed Obi-Wan Kenobi shared Anakin Skywalker's greatest weakness: attachment. Every Jedi must strive for balance, and a key part of this lies in their rejection of attachment. As Star Wars author Charles Soule explained so memorably, there is a difference between love and attachment.
Bottom line, Dooku never considered himself a Sith. And he wasn't; he was a man looking to change the galaxy in a way the Jedi were unwilling to try. And that is why he joined the Sith and became Darth Sidious' apprentice, Darth Tyrannus. When Dooku became Sidious's apprentice, he was already an elderly man.
Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Anakin gives in to his hatred of Dooku and uses his anger to overpower him, severing both of Dooku's hands and leaving him helpless.
In legends, Dooku actually explains why he hates Anakin: He could feel Yoda's touch still lingering on the edges like a distant echo. Vividly his mind went back to their last meeting, on Geonosis: swords drawn at last, and finally equal.
An implanted enunciator linked to an electronic voice processor enabled Vader's scorched vocal cords to produce speech. Around the part of the mask covered by the helmet was the external neural sensor array. Also hidden beneath his mask were four red heat dispersion vents, accented by yellow wire.
If he were to take his mask off, the Sith Lord would soon suffocate. So it's the most crucial part of his armor. He can only breathe without the need for his mask when he is in one of his meditation chambers seen in The Empire Strikes Back.
Darth Vader's armor was made of materials including obsidian, plasteel, durasteel, and plastoid; although its design inspired fear and symbolized the strength of the Galactic Empire, it was also critical to Vader's survival after his defeat on Mustafar.
