Scripture makes it clear that we should dress in clothes that are respectable and demonstrate self-control. We should not be preoccupied with costly clothes or focusing on gaining attention through fine things. Women should adorn themselves with good works as a result of their faith in the Lord.
There is no verse that says “Ladies, no crop tops, and guys, no tank tops.” The Bible gets at the more important issue and expects us to use discernment in working this out. When our hearts are set on worshiping God, we will welcome both the man with the gold ring and the man with the tattered clothes (James 2:2-4).
The great sin of immodesty is that we're saying, “look at me” instead of “look at God.” God's Word instructs us to dress modestly, in part, so that what we're wearing on our hearts remains visible because it is of greater worth than those awesome new flared jeans! So, yes. God does care what you wear on your body.
1 Peter 3:3-4 - Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.
He just wants you!” God does care what you wear, because what you wear affects you and others. No Bride on her wedding day is going to say to her Groom – “Come as you are to our wedding! I really don't care what you wear.” Jesus explicitly demands respectful attire in Matthew 22:1-14 (The Parable of the Wedding Feast).

Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
Modesty is an attitude of humility and decency in dress, grooming, language, and behavior. If you are modest, you do not draw undue attention to yourself. Instead, you seek to “glorify God in your body, and in your spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:20; see also verse 19).
Some Christian holy days incorporate traditional clothing, such as the Easter bonnet. Christians' clothing has, however, evolved over time. In recent decades, some churches have encouraged a more informal dress code. Among the first to adopt this policy were the Calvary Chapel associated churches.
A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this. If you come across a bird's nest beside the road, either in a tree or on the ground, and the mother is sitting on the young or on the eggs, do not take the mother with the young.
Yes, the way you dress reflects your personality. Remember, right dressing has nothing to do with price. An expensive dress might not look good on you. Before stepping out, ask yourself “Is the dress looking good on me?”, “Am I dressed as per the occasion?” and so on.
If you want to know how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable should be fine. Generally, graphic tees that show off sports team logos or bands should never be worn to church. Solid-colored tops are fine, and even something with a pattern should be OK to wear.
Like Proverbs 15:3 explains, “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.” God is keeping an eye on everyone. Nothing that happens in the world is out of His view. As Hebrews 4:13 reminds us, “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight.

Think modest and conservative when picking out your outfit.
You should eliminate backless or low-cut dresses, spaghetti straps, tank tops, or anything that shows your midriff. Just because it has to be modest, does not mean it can't be fashionable. Just make sure to not leave a lot of your skin exposed.
Women's hemlines are to be modestly below the knees. Our people are forbidden to appear in public with transparent or immodest apparel, including shorts or bathing suits. Parents are required to dress their children modestly in conformity with our general principles of Christian attire.
In the Bible, the Apostle Paul compared the church to a body, with Jesus as the head. He said for a body to work, every member is important and must do its part (see Ephesians 4:16). Participating in church and offering your time and talents will improve and strengthen both you and the people around you.

Two of these are laws: the first seen in Leviticus 13:45 states that persons who have leprous disease shall wear torn clothes and dishevelled hair. The second (Lv 21:10) is a law forbidding hākkōhēn hāggādôl 'the high priest' to tear his vestments and dishevel his hair because of his status among the people.
[5] But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. [6] For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
Other groups adhering to a conservative dress code include Buddhist and Christian monks, Orthodox Jews, and more conservative Muslims such as Sufis, but these forms of dress normally are not called "plain dress".
Christianity. Some Christians take issue with tattooing, upholding the Hebrew prohibition. The Hebrew prohibition is based on interpreting Leviticus 19:28—"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you"—so as to prohibit tattoos. Interpretations of the passage vary, however.
Shoes are kept on in churches, as well as most other public indoor spaces, but they are always removed in mosques.
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
Our bodies are so important that the Lord calls them temples of God (see 1 Corinthians 3:16–17; 6:19–20). Our bodies are holy. Because our bodies are important, our Father in Heaven wants us to take good care of them. He knows that we can be happier, better people if we are healthy.
