Exercises for nasolabial folds include: Puckering the lips in an upward motion, as if kissing the ceiling. Hold for 15 seconds and repeat 4–5 times. Puckering the lips into a pouting motion, then pulling the corners of the mouth out.
If you are trying to improve your nasolabial folds, we will probably advise you to use Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, or Restylane Defyne. All of these products contain specialized hyaluronic acid-based formulas that can smooth away your smile lines without making your face look frozen or immobile.
Dermal Filler
Perhaps the most popular treatment for nasolabial fold concerns, hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal filler, like Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Belotero®, can be artfully injected to lift and smooth the creases without simply plumping up the lines themselves.
The adipose tissue out- side of the nasolabial folds is thick and forms the shape of the cheek. Therefore, we suspect that massage did not greatly affect the shape of the nasolabial folds, but rather caused morpho- logical changes of the cheek, which altered the appearance of the nasolabial folds.
Age, sun damage, and smoking are the biggest culprits of deepening nasolabial folds. The sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays break down the collagen and elastin fibers in your skin that keep it smooth and supported. Smoking also breaks down these fibers.
The most common types of fillers for nasolabial folds contain hyaluronic acid. This clear substance is naturally produced in the skin and helps with firmness and hydration. The following hyaluronic acid fillers are approved for the treatment of nasolabial folds: Bellafill.
If your marionette lines and nasolabial folds are still relatively superficial, microneedling can also provide excellent results. This collagen-induction treatment uses tiny needles to create microscopic punctures in your skin.
Supplementation with 50 mL of Pure Gold Collagen on a daily basis for 60 days led to a noticeable reduction in skin dryness, wrinkles, and nasolabial fold depth.
Reduce Smile Lines Around Mouth with Dermal Filler
The best treatment to reduce these lines is dermal filler. These lines are adjacent further outward on the face than the nasolabial folds, the lines from the nose down to the corners of the mouth. These nasolabial folds should also be treated with dermal filler.
Nasolabial and Marionette Lines
These lines can give the face a serious and sad look. They can dramatically age a face and contribute to a person looking sadder, or older than their years.
Dermal fillers: Dermal fillers are used as the first-line treatment for nasolabial folds. Dermal fillers help lift the skin and add volume to the area. The most commonly used fillers are calcium hydroxylapatite and hyaluronic acid. Both have been shown to promote collagen growth and plump the skin.
Believe it or not, when the fold is caused by a tight muscle, the answer is BOTOX. Our Bay Area patients with a snarl or resting “not-so-nice” face can get two quick, easy BOTOX injections (one on each side of the nose) to relax this muscle and soften their snarl and their nasolabial folds.
The naso-labial folds from the corner of the nose to mouth are often treated with 0.5ml per side, so often 1ml will be required. The naso-labial folds can also be reduced by placing dermal filler in the cheek area to lift the cheek and reduce the fold.
I also have some good news: the nasolabial folds can be improved by injecting them directly with fillers. It seems pretty intuitive that the best way to improve a volume deficit in an area is to inject fillers into that same area (as opposed to somewhere else).
Lip lines are vertical wrinkles that develop along and above your upper lip. Lip lines are part of the natural aging process. But habits such as smoking and sun exposure can create deeper lip wrinkles. Cosmetic treatments, including fillers, can reduce lip lines and help you look younger.
“From birth until puberty, the labia minora are tiny and barely even there, but at puberty, a girl starts releasing hormones. That's when the labia minora grow, so they can get longer, darker in color, and wrinkly.”
As you get older, your skin naturally becomes less elastic and more fragile. Decreased production of natural oils dries your skin and makes it appear more wrinkled. Fat in the deeper layers of your skin diminishes. This causes loose, saggy skin and more-pronounced lines and crevices.
One of the best treatments for wrinkles around the mouth is night cream formulated with retinol, as it works alongside the skin's natural production of collagen. No7 Pure Retinol Night Cream helps to visibly smooth the appearance of wrinkles around the mouth and face in just two weeks.
