Though we are imperfect, He loves us perfectly. Though we may feel lost and without compass, God's love encompasses us completely. “He loves us because He is filled with an infinite measure of holy, pure, and indescribable love. We are important to God not because of our résumé but because we are His children.
It is natural for God to love since it is His nature. For this reason, He loves us, humans, even though we are sinners and unfaithful to Him. He may get angry for a while due to our sins, but He is always willing to forgive and give us a second chance.
He gives us all we need for every good work, Ephesians 6.10-12. He provides escape from temptation, 1 Corinthians 10.13. And, He provides us with the necessary discipline in order to bring correction to our spiritual life, Hebrews 12.6-11. God provides us with His constant love and care.
Repentance Is Key
The only thing we need to do to feel worthy of His love is use the power of His Atonement by repenting of our sins. Repentance is the key in recognizing our self-worth and the love of the Savior.
You are valuable because of who you are.
You are made in God's image, according to His likeness (Genesis 1:26). A long time ago, even before God created you and before He created this universe, you were the focus of His love.
A way to know that you are following God's plan for your life is by being in prayer. Take time each day to devote yourself to the Lord and the plans He has for your life. If you are giving each area of your life to God, then He will bless it and be able to work through it abundantly.
God's forgiveness and love are unconditional. He loved us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8) and we cannot earn His love by our good works. We are forgiven based on the perfect work of Jesus Christ. God does, however, require repentance in order to grant forgiveness.
Jesus shows us His love by inviting us to His eternal home and welcoming us. Jesus forgives us with open arms when we repent. He waits patiently for us to show up with a surrendered heart and willingness to change. He never gives up on us.
The love of God cannot be fully explained but only experienced. His love surpasses every boundary in every direction - there are no limits. No matter where a person has been, or where they are currently, or where they are heading — He loves. No matter how shattered, closed, or rebellious we are — He still loves.
Love for us kept Jesus on the cross. There very clearly is a universal love of God for all of mankind, both saved and unsaved. We are all made in His image, and He loves us because of that rather than our cherubic smiles and Father's Day gifts.
As today's scripture makes clear, God's love does not depend on our goodness. God's very nature is love, independent of our actions. His love for us is based on who he is, not on what we do. No matter what our circumstances, no matter what we have or haven't done, we can rest in the assurance that God loves us!
God does not forgive unrepentant sinners. He loves them, and that is what He calls us to do, “Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you.”
God speaks to us through His Word. And one of the best ways to sense His presence is to get into His Word and ask His Holy Spirit to guide you into a better understanding of it. When you get into God's Word, and even speak it audibly, you will sense its power and His presence.
You can tell Him how you feel, what you desire and what your goals are. Tell Him what you love about Him and about your life and express your gratitude for all that He has done for you. You can tell God about the things in your life that you don't like or that are hard for you.
The word haughty comes from an old Anglo-French word, haut, which means “high,” and which comes from the Latin word altus, from which we get our word altitude. Putting all that together, we find that haughty eyes are the kind of eyes that look down at other people, as if the one looking down is “higher up” than others.
Instead, Micah listed out the three principles of what God asks of His people: to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with Him.
Our lives have already been planned and laid out, and we must just walk in it and rely on a God who has it in the bag. One thing about God, as the Bible tells us, is that he is an on-time God.
The Bible says God 'made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth' (Acts 17:26). Every human being is precious in the eyes of God — so precious that he sent his only son into the world to redeem us from sin's curse.
Love. There can be no disputing that God values love. Jesus demonstrated his love for humanity in His life and death. He used the word, “love” over 50 times in just the book of John and God's love is mentioned hundreds of times throughout scripture.
Generosity – This is the core Christian value of being kind and unselfish, especially with our money and time. Courage– The value is characterized by boldness and confidence. It's the opposite of fear. Love – Love is a fundamental characteristic of who God is and it's a value that is to describe His children as well.
We cannot accept God's love because everything in us is rejecting ourselves as we are. So when Jesus says, in The Message translation of the Two Great Commandments, “Love others as well as you love yourself,”[2] it's almost impossible for us to love ourselves, even when we know in our minds that God loves us.
