Whether you're snapping your boo privately or posting on your story, get creative with the captions. You may be cute as a button, but the caption is the material your crush is most likely to reply to. You might: Take a selfie and write, “If I was a fruit, I'd totally be a FINEapple.”
It could mean A LOT of different things. Not interested in sending a snap back. Getting distracted and simply forgetting to send something back. Maybe they found out you like them and don't know what to do about, or they just don't want to have to reject you.
If you want to be super subtle, post to your story and hope they respond. But sending them something is the best way to get a response. Maybe send them a screenshot of a song you're listening to that you know they like. Or send a photo of your pet.
Make it clear what you're asking for, be courteous, and show her that you're interested without being pushy. If this is your first time asking for pics, you could text her, “Getting to know you has been so great, but I'd love to put a face to this conversation! Would you mind sending a photo or two?”
Open Snapchat and tap the ghost icon at the screen's top. In the resulting menu, select “Add Friends.” After that, you'll be able to add her with her username, through your phone's contacts (though you'll need to already have her number), or with a special Snapchat code.
If you want to bring My AI into a conversation with a friend, type @myai into any chat, then tap My AI. You can then ask a question or give a prompt in the conversation, and My AI will reply right in the chat.
But point is, don't take it personally or anything if a girl snaps you with just half her face. Either she's lazy and wants to do a quick snap/feels that it's pointless to take an entire selfie, is insecure, just doesn't want to show her whole face, etc.
Communicate Elsewhere. It may just be that your crush isn't comfortable texting - some people prefer to talk over the phone or in person. If you've made no effort to speak to your crush other than sending texts, it may be time to work up the courage to have a conversation with them in person.
Flirty messages will get your crush thinking about you and prompt a reply. If the person you're texting is a crush or romantic interest, try getting a little flirty with your texts. It'll show them you're interested in getting closer and prompt them to respond with something flirty of their own.
Beware of open-boxing. Another thing that can make people feel awkward is "open-boxing." That's when you open someone's direct snap, but don't reply — not even with an "lol." This is extremely rude. It sends a message that you're intentionally blowing off your friend.
5 Send fun snaps every few days to build a connection. 6 Follow her lead when responding to her snaps. 7 View her snap stories fairly quickly to show interest. 8 Send her a message when she views one of your stories.
Send videos, pictures, and short comments. Once you've exchanged a few private snaps, up your game by sending him a video, asking him a question, or giving a short comment. If he responds, keep the conversation going by asking follow-up questions and answering any questions he might have.
If a guy pokes fun at your pics or messages, it's a sign he's into you. Some guys try to tell jokes or indirectly flirt with a sarcastic comment. When he says something funny in response to one of your snaps, he's showing off his sense of humor and trying to push your buttons to see if you're playful in response.
