Lasts Longer Than Most Temporary Tattoos: While most temporary tattoos only last a few days, Inkbox lasts up to 1-2 weeks and is water-resistant. You can shower, sweat, and go about your day. Just avoid scrubbing, and you're good to go. Your tattoo gradually fades as your skin naturally exfoliates and regenerates.
Our plant-based, cruelty-free For Now Ink™ lasts 1-2 weeks on your skin and fades as your skin naturally regenerates. So you get super realistic, commitment-free tattoos that are easy-to-apply (and easy-to-get-hooked-on).
Inkbox uses a sticker stencil and a pad soaked with ink to temporarily dye the skin. Similar to a henna tattoo, the color develops over one to two days before slowly fading away with wear in a week or two. This means, though, that all designs are limited to a monochrome pen-and-ink color scheme.
To keep your For Now Ink™ looking fresh, you want to avoid anything that exfoliates your skin. Since Inkbox sits in the top layer of your skin, the faster it exfoliates the faster your tattoo will fade. Please, don't stop showering on our behalf, just be mindful not to scrub the tattoo while soaping up.
Chinese ink is a method where a tattoo artist cuts the surface of the skin and applies their own blend of ink to create a semi-permanent tattoo that lasts up to six months.
Visit an Ephemeral studio for a real tattoo that fades away in 1-3 years. Self-expression for who you are today.
From the start, Ephemeral's waiver included warnings that “the exact amount of time that the tattoo will last may be shorter or longer” than nine to 15 months, and that the tattooing process “might leave individuals with permanent marks.”
if you leave the patch on for 2h instead of 1h. the tattoos are so much darker and thicker than if you follow the instructions.
Inkbox tattoos are water resistant! Because our ink sinks into the top layer of the skin, it can withstand exposure to water and sweat. ✅ A few things to note: Wait at least 8 hours post-application before working out, showering, or going for a swim.
It takes 24 to 36 hours for your tattoo to reach peak darkness. On most people, a tattoo will end up being a dark blue to black color, depending on your individual skin chemistry. 💡 So don't worry if you don't see a dark tattoo immediately.
Our ink contains ingredients you may not have put on your skin before. As a result, there's a small risk of allergic reaction upon application (or of sensitization through repeated use). If a reaction takes place, it's usually a mild case of contact dermatitis (red or inflamed skin as a result of irritation).
The 444 tattoo refers to a spirit of self-improvement, passion and effort. This set of numbers is one of the most popular angel numbers, which are repeating numbers in a sequence that offers guidance and support during a time of need.
Unlike most fake or temporary tattoos, Inkbox works because it sits in your skin, not on top of it. Lasts Longer Than Most Temporary Tattoos: While most temporary tattoos only last a few days, Inkbox lasts up to 1-2 weeks and is water-resistant.
Yes! Make sure to cover your tattoo the first night so the ink doesn't transfer or smudge. We recommend wearing a loose fitting shirt in case the ink transfers!
Generally, smudging is the result of too much moisture being trapped in the applicator.
Color: While our ink works on all skin tones, the resulting color will vary person-to-person, because our ink will interact differently with your skin chemistry. This means that the final result can be anywhere from a blue/green to a dark blue-black- meaning that the color of your tattoo is completely unique to you!
Note: Shaving: Inkbox tattoos don't work well on dense hair. We recommend shaving the area 24 hours before applying your Inkbox (shaving results in micro-cuts on the skin that increase the risk of skin reactions, so you'll want to give your skin a rest for a full 24 hours!).
Light hair on the application area is fine and allows for a good transfer, but the more hair there is, the more room there is for error. If you are questioning whether or not to shave the application area, we suggest shaving it. 💡 If you shave, we recommend waiting 24 hours before applying your tattoo.
For the safety of your skin, wait until your Inkbox has completely faded before getting a permanent tattoo.
We strongly recommend against applying Inkbox tattoos to the face, neck, upper chest, genitals, and other sensitive skin areas. The skin on these areas is more sensitive than on other parts of the body, which increases the chances of developing a reaction.
Inkbox is safe for all adults and children aged 10 and up.
Inkbox has the most long-lasting temporary tattoos. Unlike other brands that apply in seconds, you have to leave this one on for an hour.
Why do tattoos not disappear after 7 years? They found that immune system cells called macrophages eat the ink, and then pass it to their replacements when they die. Researchers have known that immune system cells are involved in helping the body take up tattoos.
Ephemeral is the first and only tattoo that's made-to-fade in a year. Applied by real tattoo artists, Ephemeral tattoos are formulated to have a shorter lifespan– giving you the freedom to get tattoos without a lifetime commitment.
Don't worry, this is completely natural. It happens because the old skin, damaged during the tattooing process, forms a thin layer over your tattoo and masks its true appearance. In time this old skin will naturally exfoliate itself, revealing your tattoo underneath in all its vibrant glory.
