Akaza's appearance as a human at the age of 18.
Miyoko Akaza (赤座 美代子, Akaza Miyoko, born February 10, 1944 in Aichi) is a Japanese actress.
At the age of 18, even before he became a demon, he is easily able to decapitate, dismember and mutilate 67 armed adult kendo masters with his bare fists, to the point that even Muzan thought that it is a Demon who performed these feats.
Over a century ago, Akaza was a human by the name of Hakuji before being turned into a Demon personally by Muzan. He first appeared as the secondary antagonist of Mugen Train Arc, and grew to despise Tanjiro for humiliating him after Muzan reprimanded him for being unable to take his life.
Despite losing his memories, Akaza was noted to have subconsciously retained his strong feelings for Koyuki, this is seen where Doma noted that Akaza absolutely refused to kill and eat women during his hundreds of years as a Demon, despite his obsessive desire for more strength and power.
HakuKoyu is a ship that isn't as noticed by the fandom, unlike the other canon ships such as TanKana, ZenNezu or ObaMitsu. However, most fans love them and enjoyed their love story, which showed their deep care for each other. It is one of the most loved Akaza's ships and his only famous het ship.
It was later revealed that Akaza's desperate and stubborn pursuit of strength was to heal his sick father and to protect the ones he loved and cared about, namely his fiancée Koyuki and his teacher Keizo.
The first syllable in Akaza's name contains the the kanji that stands for gentle and docile. An individual who's believed to be gentle and docile shouldn't really have a scowl on their faces. This could be a major reason why Akaza was portrayed as a character that always keeps smiling in Demon Slayer.
Akaza. Because of his desire to become stronger and Doma's strength allowing him to surpass himself to become Upper Two, Akaza harboured an intense hatred of Doma.
Akaza (written: 赤座) is a Japanese surname. Notable people with the surname include: Hideyuki Akaza (赤座 英之), Japanese urologist. Miyoko Akaza (赤座 美代子, born 1944), Japanese actress. Akaza Naoyasu (赤座 直保, died 1606), Japanese daimyō
Muichiro was a 14-year-old boy at the time of his death and had a youthful appearance befitting said demographic. His mint-green eyes were large and empty-looking and his complexion was very light. He was fairly short and had a delicate figure which led Tanjiro to believe he was physically weak.
Shinobu Kocho's tragic backstory is one of the most heart-wrenching in Demon Slayer. She and her sister, Kanae, were orphaned at a young age after their parents were killed by a demon.

Can someone help? Akaza has “上弦” on his right eye, meaning “Upper Rank” (referring to the fact he's an Upper Moon) and “参” on his left eye, meaning “three” (referring to his Upper Moon/Rank Position no. which is 3). Fyi, all Upper Moons have “上弦” as well as their respective numbers from ranks1-6 on their eyes.
4) Doma - 133 years
His demon abilities were quite troublesome as it manifested in the form of ice. Shinobu had to sacrifice her life in order to make him weak enough for him to be killed by Inosuke Hashibira and Kanao. He had lived for over 130 years and killed many humans and members of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Despite being a blood-thristy demon who has murdered several people, he has a set of principles he adheres to. One thing that Demon Slayer fans have noticed is that Akaza refuses to eat or kill women. Additionally, the Demon King, Muzan, gave Akaza special permission to do so.
After Akaza's death, Doma says that he felt as if the Upper Rank had turned into a different creature before he died, and that his demise is inevitable because he never ate any women. Doma begins to cry over his 'best friend's' death, but Kanao just tells him to stop with the lies.
Doma is always smiling and acts very friendly, but this cheerful, caring nature is simply a facade. He states that he cares for his fellow Upper Moons and even cries when he learns that Akaza died, though, in fact, he doesn't feel anything for them.
Akaza was also one of Muzan's favorite demons out of all his subordinates. The reason behind this is Akaza's extreme loyalty to his master.
In order to pay for medicine, Hakuji pickpocketed from people in town, but was caught three times. The magistrate beat him and marked him with tattoos, threatening to cut his arms off the next time he was caught and calling him a "Demon Child".
Akaza has short pink hair and yellow eyes with a blue colored sclera, the kanji for Upper Moon Three written onto his irises.
3 Muzan Mainly Liked Daki Because Of Her Potential To Earn Money.
Daki and Gyutaro
Muzan is shown to have a positive master-servant relationship with Daki, as the young Demoness seemingly worships and admires the Demon Progenitor immensely, fervently hanging on each and every one one of his words and doing her absolute best to accomplish the tasks he gives her.
- Akaza's Belt and Beads around his ankles is a reference to Japanese superstitions and Buddhism (See no.3) - Line patterns on Akaza's body resemble the criminal tattoos he had when he was human (the increase of crimes committed?).
