It is revealed by Hera that Apollo never takes no for an answer which reveals his obsession of Persephone. This is linked to his intense ambition, as it is hinted in Episode 145 that he may want to consume Persephone to gain her power as a fertility goddess so he can overthrow Zeus and become ruler of the gods.
As Ovid tells it, the god Apollo insulted Cupid and suffered his wrath. Cupid's alchemical arrows caused Apollo to be obsessed with the nymph Daphne, and caused Daphne to find Apollo repulsive.
Apollo was merely an interested suitor when Persephone became of age and was actively looking for a husband. But Persephone was raped by her father not once, but two times. In both occurrences, she bore a child. Her first child was the boy Zagreus.
Eros then arrives as he senses Persephone admitting to having a crush and Persephone tells the two her plans of shoving her feelings for Hades deep down inside her and letting them "wither over time," and that he belongs to Minthe.
During the last day of Persephone and Demeter's trial, Apollo reveals himself and Artemis to be Zeus' children, shocking Artemis as she was unaware of her parentage until her brother. Artemis knew that she and Apollo were lying to her all this time.
She loved him so much that she would have given up her virginity to be with him, but there were a few problems. Apollo didn't want his sister to be with the hunter, he fell in love with one of her followers while was in love with Artemis and Orion was killing too many animals. After his death, Artemis was heartbroken.

Persephone's jealousy suggests she might have loved Hades
In Ovid's famous text Metamorphosis, Hades has an affair with a young Nymph named Minthe. Persephone, now in her later years, was so incensed with jealousy that she turned Minthe into a mint plant.
Adonis was an exceedingly beautiful mortal man with whom Persephone fell in love. After he was born, Aphrodite entrusted him to Persephone to raise. But when Persephone got a glimpse of the beautiful Adonis—finding him as attractive as Aphrodite did—she refused to give him back to her.
In the Orphic myths, the maiden goddess Persephone was seduced by Zeus in the guise of a serpent. She bore him a son, the godling Zagreus, who, when Zeus placed him upon the throne of heaven, was attacked and dismembered by the Titanes. His heart was recovered and he was reborn through Semele as the god Dionysos.
However, Persephone, too, fell dearly in love with Adonis and refused to give him up when Aphrodite came for him.
Persephone slipped beneath the Earth and Hades stole her to the Underworld where he made her his wife. The myth says that Persephone was very unhappy, but after much time, she came to love the cold-blooded Hades and lived happily with him.
In Greek mythology, Adonis was a mortal lover of the goddess Aphrodite and of Persephone. One day, Adonis was gored by a wild boar during a hunting trip and died in Aphrodite's arms as she wept. His blood mingled with her tears and became the anemone flower.

The story of the abduction and subsequent rape of Persephone, the young and beautiful goddess of spring, at the hands of Hades, the king of the Underworld, is a famous and heart-wrenching tale.
29 (trans. Aldrich) (Greek mythographer C2nd A.D.) : "Plouton (Pluto) [Haides] fell in love with Persephone, and with Zeus' help secretly kidnapped her. Demeter roamed the earth over in search of her, by day and by night with torches.
Some Greeks feared her even more than Hades, reportedly using her name to curse enemies. She was in no way weak and was one of the few who personified duality by being able to hold the roles Queen of the Underworld and a Spring Goddess. Part of that was due to Hades supporting her in both roles.
Minthe was a nymph of the river Cocytus who became Hades' mistress. A jealous Persephone trampled the nymph under her foot, transforming her into garden mint in the process. According to a scholiast on Nicander, Hades turned his dead lover into the mint herb after Persephone tore her into pieces for sleeping with him.
Hades did not make any of his extramarital affairs a secret. Typically, his affairs would not bother Persephone, but when Minthe arrogantly bragged that she was more beautiful than Persephone and that she would win Hades back, Persephone took revenge.
Demeter says to Zeus, “I can bear the fact that she [Persephone] has been raped, if he [Pluto] will only return her!” Page 14 10 (Metamorphoses 5.520-21). Demeter reveals that she is fine with the sexual abuse her daughter has endured, but only if Pluto returns Persephone.
Full of anguish and regret, the goddess took Orion's body using her silver moon chariot and placed her lover in the sky as a tribute to her friend who bears the same name, the Orion constellation. The story of the tragedy between them spread across Crete.
She was the daughter of Phlegyas, king of the Lapiths, and Cleophema. By Apollo she became the mother of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine. While she was still pregnant, she cheated on Apollo with a mortal man named Ischys and was subsequently killed by the god for her betrayal.
Siproites, while hunting, saw Artemis bathing naked; in response to the offence, the virgin goddess turned him into a woman: The Cretan, Siproites, had also been turned into a woman for having seen Artemis bathing when out hunting.
