is Black Panther worthy of Mjolnir? the answer is actually yes. but it's not just t'challa. the whole Black Panther bloodline is worthy of Mjolnir.
In a remarkable twist, this week's Avengers #36 reveals Black Panther is one of the few people considered worthy by Mjolnir. Jason Aaron's current Avengers run has been carefully weaving his Thor lore into the wider history of the Marvel Universe, revealing the first Avengers were formed 1,000,000 years ago.
Other than Thor and Odin, certain other individuals have proven worthy of lifting Mjolnir in the primary continuity: Roger "Red" Norvell (a deliberate ruse by Odin) Beta Ray Bill. Buri (also known as Tiwaz, Thor's great-grandfather)
Black Panther has a nearly unlimited supply of Vibranium at his disposal and therefore could construct energy-absorbing weapons to shield himself from Thor's physical attacks. Theoretically, all that would be left is for Black Panther to deliver a crushing blow in order to beat Thor.
However, Aquaman has inborn superpowers and is vastly stronger and more durable. Even out of the water, Aquaman outclasses Black Panther. Aquaman can survive the pressures at the bottom of the ocean, meaning any attack Black Panther can throw at him would fail.
Even without the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos has proven himself to be a hugely powerful threat, often taking on entire teams of Avengers at once. However, it is with the Infinity Gauntlet that he can most consistently defeat the Avengers.
Forged by dwarves in the heart of a dying star, the weapon is enchanted so that it can only be lifted and wielded by those who are worthy of its powers. Both in the comics and the MCU films, many characters other than Thor himself, both heroes and villains, have been able to lift Mjolnir.
But what about someone who was mostly out for themselves? Yes, even Spider-Man has been worthy of holding the hammer of Thor.
NOT WORTHY
While Batman does have some of the characteristics that would allow him to lift Mjolnir, he also has committed several acts that disqualify him. This is a man who once kept extensive files on his allies in case he needed to take them down, files that were stolen and used against said allies.
Well then, there are two answers: 1) Mjolnir in the comics wouldn't hurt the no Black Panther because it has been used by a previous Panther. 2) It can hurt T'challa from the MCU because no such bond has been mentioned.
Moon Knight even seized control of Mjolnir as he revealed that the Uru metal of the hammer is just another moon rock. So while Moon Knight couldn't physically wield the hammer, he could command it to obey his will. And that control extended to Khonshu as well.
Amid the chaos, which was worsened by the sudden appearance of the world serpent Jormungand, Natasha retrieved Mjolnir and was deemed worthy, becoming a super-spy thunder goddess hybrid, with a hammer for smashing and her widows bites for stinging.
Superman has Actually Lifted Mjolnir Before
One of the best comic book crossovers ever, The JLA/Avengers written by Kurt Busiek and George Perez, gives fans one of the most thrilling comic book panels ever, where Superman wields not only Thor's hammer, but Captain America's Shield, as well.
As it turns out, Mjolnir won't work for Superman because Superman refuses to kill. It makes sense once you think it through. Mjolnir was meant to be the weapon of a warrior prince of a warrior nation.
It may seem odd, but there is no member of the Green Lantern Corps who is worthy of Mjolnir. To be a Green Lantern, a person needs to feel no fear and have unbreakable willpower. In other words, they can't be humble in any way.
And Mathaudhu can cite documentary sources to back him up. For example, Marvel – which publishes the Thor comics – issued a “Thor's Hammer” trading card in 1991 that states Mjolnir is made of Uru and weighs precisely 42.3 pounds. That's lighter than a herd of 300 billion mice, much less a herd of 300 billion elephants.
Thanos didn't lift Mjolnir, Captain America did
With Mjolnir's worthiness enchantment resulted in Thor being able to lift the hammer only if he is considered to be worthy, but likewise, the enchantment is not discriminatory in nature, and anyone who is deemed worthy is able to lift the hammer.
One version of Spider-Man 2099 stands above the others, however, eventually becoming a vital savior to his entire timeline. As a result, he was able to even become worthy enough to lift Mjolnir, Thor's enchanted hammer.
Like Stormbreaker, Mjolnir also allows Thor to wield thunder and lightning; however, it's not capable of summoning the Bifrost. The magic hammer did develop a power Stormbreaker couldn't, though, and it's able to detach its broken pieces to attack multiple enemies at once, before coming together again.
Ofcourse as seen in the film Thor Ragnarok where Hela breaks Thor's hammer without a sweat , breaking Mjolnir is not at all inevitable. In the comics too Mjolnir has been destroyed several times by the Celestials, The Destroyer,The Dark Gods,The Molecule Man and several other villians.
The original Avengers are all heroes, but they were never worthy of Mjolnir. The key to worthiness is utter selflessness and total absolution. While some disagree and believe Captain America has always been worthy, he is still the only one of the original Avengers, besides Thor, to be worthy of Mjolnir.
Thor: The God of Thunder almost killed Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. He really would have taken down the Mad Titan there and then if not for his wish to see Thanos realise the error of his ways. As Thanos said, he should have gone for the head. We think if Thor got another chance, he would not miss.
Developing powers like his fellow Oans, Krona is more than powerful to defeat Thanos. Beyond his vast energy powers, Krona has mighty mental abilities that would allow him to defeat Thanos. The Mad Titan has defenses against mental attacks, but not at the level that Krona is capable of.
Captain America has also demonstrated his worth to wield Mjolnir, the enchanted hammer of Thor. If he were to wield Mjolnir in a hypothetical battle against Superman, he would gain access to incredible strength and lightning-based attacks, potentially giving him the power to defeat the Man of Steel.
