Due to the time jump and how much more he learned about the world, Eren's personality greatly changed. This new side of Eren was nothing like what fans would have expected him to become.

How Eren treats his friends is one of the most interesting aspects of his character. He always makes it clear how much he loves his friends, but at the same time very confused by the idea that they might love him. He wants to love others, but he doesn't want to be loved.
When it comes to pure skill, Levi far outranks Eren. Not only does Levi have more experience in the field, but he's also just a better fighter overall. Without his ability to transform into a Titan on command, Eren wouldn't stand a chance against Levi.
Levi is admired and considered a hero by the people inside the walls for being the strongest soldier of humanity. When confronting his enemies, he can be extremely brutal and merciless towards them.
Faced with worldwide hatred, Eren decides to betray humanity and save only Paradis Island. Despite years of searching for truth in his world and putting his life on the line, Eren Yeager decides to betray humanity and commit global genocide by using The Rumbling.
Eren was devastated by Sasha's passing. However, because of what he experienced and what he had to do to save the Eldians, hearing Sasha's final words made sense to him and brought back memories of when they were younger, and it was easier to hate the Titans for the devastation they had caused.
He does love Mikasa but is only able to confess this at the end of Attack on Titan. In chapter 139, the protagonist has a heart-to-heart with Armin, in which he expresses disappointment at the thought of Mikasa finding love with someone else after his death.
Eren is on Paradis island's side. The whole reason for his actions is to protect those dearest to him.
An anti-villain is a character who has heroic personality traits or goals but is ultimately the bad guy in this story. For example, an anti-villain may have noble goals, but their means to attain that goal are evil.
After he found out that humans existed outside the walls and the true enemies were the Marleyans he had to eradicate them since it was the only way in his vision for his friends to lead a peaceful life.
