Lindt – Chocolates with soft fillings contain untraceable palm oil. Chocolate without soft fillings do not. Cadbury – All chocolates with soft fillings (a la mini Crème Eggs) contain untraceable palm oil. Those without soft fillings do not.
Are there trans-fats or hydrogenated oils in Lindt chocolate? For the production of our solid chocolates, the only vegetable fat Lindt & Sprüngli uses is pure cocoa butter. Fillings may contain other vegetable fats. Milk fat is used in milk chocolate recipes or in selected filling masses.

Cadbury has bowed to consumer pressure and stopped using palm oil in its dairy milk chocolate. The confectionary giant caused a furore when it was revealed it had substituted cocoa butter with vegetable fat including palm oil.
