Rogue is caring person, mostly towards her fellow X-Men. She cares for everyone, especially her father-figure Logan. However, she is also violent when those she cares about are in danger.
First appearance: Avengers Annual #10 (1981)
In Fox's X-Men movie franchise, Wolverine and Rogue have an inspiring father/daughter relationship. But in the comics, not so much.
Rogue formed a relationship with Wolverine as a paternal-figure and friend who helped her during joining Xavier's school. Rogue also formed a relationship with Iceman which became strained due to her powers.
Rogue's parents, Owen and Priscilla, married early in their relationship and lived in a back-to-nature hippie commune in Caldecott County, Mississippi. Born as Anna Marie, she also enjoyed the attentions of her Aunt Carrie on her mother's side.
Sarah Kinney, the scientist who carried Laura's cloned body to term and considered a motherly figure to the X-Man, has her DNA inside Laura as well. Therefore, just as Logan is considered X-23's father, Sarah is confirmed to be her mother.
Here's X-23's origin story in the comics
A scientist named Sarah Kinney eventually begins using Wolverine's DNA to try to create a clone. She fails 22 times but eventually uses the last of the DNA to create a female version: x-23. (She also has to carry the baby because her boss is really mean.)
Powers and abilities
Laura was apparently a female clone (later revealed as his biological daughter) created from Wolverine's genetic material. Consequently, her mutant powers are similar to his.
In this timeline, Rogue and Gambit are married and have two kids: Oli and Becka. Rogue finally got her powers fully under control, which is how she was able to have children. Rogue is a presumably doting mother until her unfortunate demise later in the series.
History. Magneto and Rogue developed a relationship when it was realized that their similar magnetic powers made Magneto immune to Rogue's absorption abilities. Rogue eventually gave birth to young Charles, whom Magneto named after his friend Charles Xavier.
Mystique is the mother of the X-Men hero Nightcrawler and the villain Graydon Creed, and the adoptive mother of the X-Men heroine Rogue.
Meanwhile, Rogue was also spending a great deal of time with Magneto. She was initially only keeping her promise to the Scarlet Witch, but Rogue's feelings began to grow stronger. Eventually, Magneto discovered that their similar magnetic powers cancelled each other out, which allowed them to touch.
Kate Howlett was the child of Wolverine and Jean Grey.
Laura Kinney Howlett (designated as X23-23) is a mutant, artificially created by Alkali-Transigen to use as a soldier. She is also the biological daughter of Wolverine, with similar powers, including regeneration and adamantium claws.
Laura has Logan's healing factor and six adamantium claws, but hers are surgically planted in different places — instead of Logan's three per hand, she has two, plus an additional claw in each foot.
It's official: Hugh Jackman is coming back as Logan, as has been previously confirmed by the actor and Ryan Reynolds.
Since joining the X-Men, Rogue has become closest with her roommate, Kitty, and maintains a crush on the X-Men's field leader, Scott.
He tries to slash Rogue's chains, but Magneto stops him with his power. As Rogue's energy is being stressed under the machine which would kill her eventually, some of the hair on her forehead turns white. Rogue's hair now forms white streaks.
Irene was the daughter of Gambit and Rogue, both of whom were among the heroes who survived the cataclysm that scorched the Earth and went underground to escape the lethal radiation.
The good news: Rumple walked away without speeding up Belle's pregnancy. The bad news: the vengeful Evil Queen, spurned by Rumple, went ahead and did the deed for him. Within minutes, Belle gave birth to her baby, but she quickly realized what she needed to do.
Once kidnapped Rogue, and took her to New Orleans. Gambit calls Rogue cherie four times in Cajun Spice.
According to writer Simon Kinberg, when Kitty Pryde gets injured by Wolverine during their time travel session, Rogue steps in to absorb Kitty's powers so she can stay stable, keeping Wolverine safely in the past.
Like having a skeleton coated in lead, the metal leeches into Logan's body over time. It takes years to have a major effect, but by 2029, the year “Logan” is set, the adamantium has so weakened Logan that he's aging at a normal rate and struggling to heal himself after injuries.
Laura was genetically related to Wolverine, since they gave her some of Logan's blood, which they extracted before he was released (seen in the movie: X-Men: Apocalypse).
Weaknesses. Direct Sunlight: Due to his albinism, Caliban's skin becomes burned and scarred when it comes into contact with direct sunlight. The Reavers used this weakness to torture Caliban into helping them.
