In the context of the story, Snoke is a "genetic strandcast" created by Emperor Palpatine to serve as his proxy in power. Snoke, whom Abrams called "a powerful figure on the dark side of the Force", was introduced as the leader of the First Order and master to the sequel trilogy's primary villain, Kylo Ren.
Snoke and his many copies were not a clone of any known individual the way the Clone Army soldiers were modified copies of Jango Fett. Nor was he a one-for-one recreation of a previous body like Palpatine's clone body. Snoke was an entirely new being made from scratch, and Dr.
Snoke Was a Strand-Cast Created by Palpatine
Although Snoke was bio-engineered in a lab on Exegol, he was a strand-cast, not a clone. This bit of Star Wars jargon means Snoke isn't an exact copy of anyone, but isn't natural-born either. We've heard the term “strand-cast” before.
They share a common genetic basis being that of Palpatine and if they can be considered as brothers then that technically makes Snoke the uncle of Rey.
Supreme Leader Snoke: Snoke is one of the most powerful Star Wars characters but he constantly gets downplayed and overshadowed by Palpatine.
He also took the deceased leader's name as his new last name (probably for street cred). Even though Kylo Ren uses a red lightsaber, harnesses the dark side of the Force, and wears a cape, he is not a Sith. Because of that, he can never hold the title of Darth.
It is subsequently revealed that Palpatine had a son who renounced him; the son and his partner took their daughter Rey to the planet Jakku, assuming lives as "nobodies" to keep her safe. Palpatine's assassin Ochi eventually found Rey's parents and killed them on his orders, but never found Rey.
In addition to rejecting Sidious, Dathan married a woman named Miramir, whom he fell in love with. Together, they conceived a child, their daughter Rey, who was born in 15 ABY. Although he renounced the Sith Eternal and his donor, the Palpatine bloodline would prosper through him, just as Sidious predicted.
In The Rise of Skywalker's novelization, we learn that Rey's father was a failed clone of Emperor Palpatine. He was initially created to be a vessel to house Palpatine and his Sith power.
Anakin Skywalker is the son of Shmi Skywalker, born without a father through the Force. He is the secret husband of Padmé Amidala, the father of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, the father-in-law of Han Solo, and the maternal grandfather of Ben Solo.
Darth Jar Jar, known to most as Jar Jar Binks, was a Gungan Sith Lord. He survived the Battle of Naboo and became a Representative of Naboo, when he helped to give Darth Sidious emergency powers. After the fall of the Galactic Empire, he forced a small alien named Snoke under his evil wing.

Following the release of The Last Jedi the actor who portrays Snoke, Andy Serkis, stated in an interview that Snoke's scarring was a combination of war wounds and the natural decay of an old body.
Star Wars Website Finally Confirms Snoke Is A Failed Clone.
If Qui-Gon had survived his fight against Darth Maul, he would have sensed Palpatine's evil, and Anakin wouldn't have become Darth Vader. Thus, while Qui-Gon was less powerful than Yoda, Palpatine feared him more.
Then again, the fact that the last Star Wars movie made it clear that Snoke was genetically cloned and modified makes it highly unlikely that he was a disfigured Mace Windu.
During one of these missions she would break the Jedi Code's rule of attachment by falling in love with Darman, RC-1136, a clone commando in Omega Squad, and becoming pregnant with his child, Venku Skirata.
Venku Skirata was born on the planet Mandalore, the son of the Jedi Etain Tur-Mukan and clone commando Darman Skirata. The child's father, Darman, did not know that Etain was pregnant, and was unaware he had a son until a year after the child's birth.
Despite being enemies, Rey and Kylo Ren share a connection called a 'Force dyad' and eventually become romantically involved with one another. Following Palpatine's final defeat and her own resurrection, Rey adopts the name Rey Skywalker to honor her mentors and their family legacy and renounce her lineage.
While on the planet, when someone asked her who she was, Rey responded by saying that she was "Rey Skywalker." Although she wasn't related to them, both Luke and Leia had been mentors to Rey throughout the sequel trilogy.
She does not have a baby bump, her hand never goes to her stomach to indicate she's carrying a child, and there wasn't exactly any time for her to have conceived a child with anyone in the course of the film, including Kylo Ren/Ben Solo.
Her lineage is "Palpatine". I'm sure you can understand why she chose to be called "Rey Skywalker" rather than "Rey Palpatine". Or "Rey nobody". After Luke, Leia and Ben's death, Rey, now the last Jedi, takes the name of Skywalker as her surname, continuing on the legacy of bravery, sacrifice, and strength.
As Kylo Ren himself says in The Rise of Skywalker, he and Rey are bonded not just by their familial legacies (Ren as the grandson of Darth Vader and Rey as the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine) but by their unique connection in the Force.
A crystal embodies the Jedi as the heart of the lightsaber, and pure kyber has no color until it's bonded to the Force user. This process likely resulted in Rey Skywalker's lightsaber being yellow.
In 'Star Wars,' Rey Was Originally Meant to be a Kenobi
In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Daisy Ridley revealed that a connection between Rey and Obi-Wan was one of the initial ideas around her character's creation.
