Who is the father of Brianna's baby? Brianna slept with Roger after they were handfast. However, that same night, she was raped by Stephen Bonnet. It was after this that Bree learned she was pregnant with Jemmy, and now nobody really knows who Jemmy's father is.
He robbed Jamie and Claire--leaving them destitute--after they rescued him from hanging. Roger (Richard Rankin) had to watch as Bonnet threw women and children overboard to drown on their journey to the New World. And he raped Brianna. “Brianna's case is arguably the strongest,” Gabaldon continues.
Well, at least until Bonnet wants to seal their agreement with a kiss, at which point he realizes Brianna has no real feelings for him. Unfortunately, he reacts in the worst way possible: by forcing Brianna to watch him have sex with a prostitute, and then selling Bree to a business associate for six pounds.
It turns out that they do have another baby. It's some time while they're in the past, and they name their new son David William Ian Fraser MacKenzie. He's known as “Wee Davy” or “Davy” for short.
“He's about 25,” Gabaldon said. It's an interesting response. If you're up to date on the series, then you know that Jamie is not dead at the age of 25.
Rob Cameron, one of Brianna's coworkers, kidnaps Jem, and it appears that he has taken Jem into the past. Roger and William travel through time to find them, but Rob appears at Brianna's home and orders her to tell Jem to disclose the location of the gold.
The mysterious Master Raymond is a "prehistoric time traveler." Not much is known about him, but he is thought to be a common ancestor of both Claire Fraser and Geillis Duncan.
Margaret's vision produces the following information: "When twice 1,200 moons have coursed, 'tween man's attack and woman's curse, and when the issue is cut down, then will a Scotsman wear a crown.” To put it simply, it's Brianna, the baby who was born 200 years after she was conceived.
We see Jocasta with her husband and youngest daughter, fleeing the Highlands after the Jacobites have been defeated at the Battle Of Culloden. They have a run-in with a couple of English soldiers, which ends with Jocasta's daughter, Morna, being killed. We also learn that her other two daughters later die.
She was going to be arrested for espionage, and Lord John Grey had to protect her knowing that she wouldn't be a spy. He married her to offer her his protection. Yes, they did consummate the marriage, too. At the start of the eighth book, Jamie reveals that he is alive.
Brianna would have wanted to fit in with the others in her time. Ironing the hair wasn't just not considered in the 18th century, but it just wouldn't have been possible (or even safe if it was!). So, Brianna's hair would have been left in its natural state, which means curly just like Claire's.
When Brianna travels to 18th-century Scotland, she marries Roger MacKenzie. They have a son, Jeremiah "Jemmy" Fraser MacKenzie, and a daughter, Amanda MacKenzie.
When Jemmy holds the stone, it feels incredibly hot. It's so hot, it breaks in his hands. The stone is hot to the touch for Claire, Bree, and Roger, too. It's cold when Ian or Jamie hold it.
After losing two children, Emily left Ian and chose Kaheroton as her partner — and Ian was ostracized from his tribe. Ian confessed all this to Jamie, and Jamie spoke of Faith, the daughter he lost in Paris with Claire (Caitriona Balfe) so many years ago.
While Ian had been adopted into the tribe, his spirit was still not right for Emily's spirit. Some of the tribe (and Emily) decided it was time for Young Ian to leave. Emily moved onto Kaheroton (and they would end up having a son together), and Young Ian was told to go back to his own family.
He is a dwarf and some of the residents of Fraser's Ridge believe he is a punishment for his parents' sins. Henri-Christian is placed in a basket and put into a stream by some boys. Roger saves him and baptized him.
Jeremiah Alexander Ian Fraser MacKenzie, commonly called Jem or Jemmy, is the son of Brianna and Roger MacKenzie, and grandson of Claire and Jamie Fraser.
Later, after Claire has returned to the Ridge, she is confessor to Allan Christie, who explains that he was the one that fathered Malva's child, and then murdered her.
It's possible that Amelie's sister is the one who gives birth to the line that leads to Claire. Fergus will still be an ancestor but not a direct ancestor and that would mean Laoghaire isn't one of Claire's ancestor.
Claire asks Lord John if he believes she (and Brianna and Roger) are from the future, to which he says that he doesn't, but that he will behave for all appearances as though he does.
For now, though, it appears both Fergus and Marsali aren't time travellers with actors Lyle and Domboy addressing this in an Instagram live Q&A from earlier this year.
See, before her wedding, Jocasta signed over ownership of River Run to baby Jemmy so that Duncan Innes wouldn't have any claim to it; Jocasta was the estate's guardian until Jemmy came of age.
Brianna Invents a Leg-Saving Syringe.
If you're wondering whether Jamie's leg gets amputated, the answer is, thankfully, no. And it's all because Brianna ingeniously invented a syringe using a hollowed-out snake tooth.
Roger is Jemmy's father. It's all confirmed as best as it can be in the world of the 18th century in the Outlander Season 6 finale. Jemmy's parentage is confirmed in the books in a similar way. It is all through the mole on the head, which is seen when Jemmy gets lice.
