When you hide photos and videos, they move to the Hidden album so they won't appear in your Library, in other albums or in the Photos widget on your Home Screen. In iOS 14 and later, you can turn off the Hidden album so the photos are completely hidden.
Tap and hold on to any icon until they all begin to jiggle. Move the invisible app on top of the app you want to hide, creating a folder. Let the invisible app be on the first page and move the app you want to hide to the next page in the folder by holding the app and dragging it to the right.
On an iPhone or iPad, the Hidden album is on and visible by default. When you turn off the Hidden album, any photos or videos that you've hidden won't be visible in the Photos app.
By default, the Hidden album is locked on iOS 16, so any photos and videos in that folder can only be viewed with your passcode or Touch/Face ID. Your Recently Deleted album is also password-protected.

To communicate, simply type something into the note, which the other person will be able to see in real-time, without you having to hit send. They'll also receive a notification anytime the note is altered.
You can hide alerts from that specific contact so that others won't know you're having a long back-and-forth conversation throughout the day. Go to Messages, select your text message thread, and tap on your contact's name. Toggle on Hide Alerts, and you're good to go.

If you only want to hide the content of text messages, open your Messaging app, and go to its Settings > Notifications > In-app Notification Settings. Look for the option Preview New Messages and toggle it off. There's another option that's even more secure.
